I had a great lady from the Philippines work with me for awhile, and still does from time to time.
She's hardworking, following directions well, and finishes projects in a timely manner. Which is much more than I can say for some of my fellow Americans that I have hired to do work.

Totally disagree, it comes down to the person(s). I have 2 subcontractors from Manila that have been working for more for 2 years straight. Always polite, respectful and a great work ethic. More than I can say about the majority of American subcontractors I've hired at the same skill level.

No one will respect your time unless you pay them piecework and set firm deadlines, I would never pay someone for a months work that I couldn't watch do the work for the whole month.
