I've installed it on 3 machines now and each time it freed up about 16GB worth of HD space.

Love vista. Only problem we've had is color profile issue which is supposed to be fixed shortly after sp1 release with a hotfix.

It's also available for download according to the article (which was linked to another story from News.com).

Neither article explain why in the hell it would be available on shelves and amazon.com

For the life of me I can not think why unless it is for technicians or people that want to keep it handy on cd rom for one reason or another? Who fucking knows with MS

Updated drivers for users who are currently blocked from getting SP1 via Windows Update will be available in "a few weeks," White added
that explains why I don't see it yet.

hahahahahahahahaha Stop it your killing me. this is the best thread I have seen in weeks. Vista good! hahahahahaha You still fucks. Vista is getting Microsoft sued because it "works" so well. Get off you fucking Bill Gates is GOD bandwagon. Vista is the newest version of Windows ME. Fuck Beta RC of longhorn was 1000 times better and it fucking worked with everything. If Microsoft was a car maker it would make Yugo look like a Rolls Royce.

I have to disagree. Running it completly now, no issues other than color profile issues that has a hotfix coming out within a few weeks.

Got in on my machine since last night. First everything was slow as hell.. after a couple restarts it runs smooth like before. Didnt feel any changes at all after installing the service pack.

Tried it. Used it. Slipstreamed XP with SATA and other drivers required to load onto system. I'm happier with that.
