How the fuck does anyone manage to sell sologirl stuff anymore?
I've got several top 5 results on google for sologirl model names, and to me it seems that most of my top3 & top 5 (or first page for that matter) result positions are shared and threatened CONSTANTLY by rapidshare forums & illegal tubes. I've seen it happen time and time again. I'm making great sales, then redtube shows up right in my ass and sales go dead. I get rid of redtube, and all of the sudden sales are back, then some fucking pornbb thread shows up, and sales go dead. so i fire off my complaints to programs to send out the dmca;s and wait again, a month-two months later i'm free again, and withint he week, oh surprise it's fucking youporn this time. sales go dead. i notice this about 5 times as much on model names as i do on general terms. and it happens repeatedly. shit is driving me motherfucking insane. if i can't manage to make sales with the primo serp on the model's name, how the fuck am i expected to make a sale at all, god damnit. i am about ready to completely pull my effort out of promoting sologirls all together...

![]() I still sell solo girl. But it's the stuff we produce (i.e. original). I'm guessing you are referring to affiliate stuff?
I feel ya man though on that. I've had to deal with the same. Youtube and some other tubes knocking me back out of the #2, and 3 spots on some bullshit barely related. ![]() |

Personally from some of the solo girls sites I've seen and what we were asked to produce I suspect the glory days of solo girl sites are long gone.
They were launched based on the success of girls who were special and with a personality which came through on camera and in their work. I'm sure a lot of the new sites that contain this and equally sure a lot do not. I see sites that are obviously thrown together with a custom shooter and suspect the shooter, model and budget did not lend itself to creating anything special. So what has this to do with ismokeblunts post? It might be the surfer is going to a Tube site, seeing what the site offers and moving on. I've seen a few solo girl sites samplers and decided it's not that great. This is my ![]() The sponsor's excuse for the low offer was solo girl sites don't convert that well. Like blaming a Skoda for not performing like a Porsche. A girl with a real personality that relates to the surfers needs in the niche she fits. She has to be prepared to give everything to a scene and do it for real. A shooter with the skills, budget and time to bring her personality out and develop it. Both of them working at a pace that they can both give of their best. Shooting 40 scenes in in 6-8 days with a budget of $500 or less a scene is not going to get you a lot of the above. We were recently asked to shoot 40 scenes, mostly solo with a few lesbian scenes. for a budget of $20,000. Every scene in a different location. This was a big sponsor. Told him to go get someone else. Later heard even the girl turned it down. So they found another girl. ![]() |

just curious, how good are you usually converting with paysite names/ (solo girl model names) traffic from google?

It's simply that this type of tube/forum site has the ability to take top positions on terms like model names. Go ahead and type in any pornstar or sologirl model's name. First page of google is more than likely going to feature youporn, redtube, pornbb, or any other number of tubes and rapidshare forum combos. And it does directly affect the sales of every other site listed on that page, no doubt about it. I've watched it happen several times now. It makes me seriously consider just not promoting sologirl stuff any more, which is a shame because I enjoy the niche. This niche is just especially hard hit by the tube epidemic by it's power over the search engines.. Quote:
Even when you can get your sponsor to manage to throw out a DMCA it' still takes a long fucking time for most of these shithead tubes and so on to get aroudn to removing the content. |
