Looks like you are now at the point of just being a complete douche bag. Since you seem incapable of carrying on an intelligent conversation, and more like just drooling bullshit our of that orifice you call your mouth, but might actually be your asshole. |

Kennesaw, Georgia
-- Gun law -- On May 1, 1982 the city passed an ordinance [Sec 34-1a] requiring every head of household to maintain a firearm together with ammunition. It was passed partly in response to a 1981 handgun ban in Morton Grove, Illinois. Kennesaw's law was amended in 1983 to exempt those who conscientiously object to owning a firearm, convicted felons, those who cannot afford a firearm, and those with a mental or physical disability that would prevent them from owning a firearm. It mentions no penalty for its violation. According to the Kennesaw Historical Society, no one has ever been charged under the ordinance. -- Reports of resulting burglary rate statistics -- Gary Kleck, a criminologist and gun-control critic attributes a drop of 89% in the residential burglary rate to the law.[3] Kennesaw is often cited by advocates of gun ownership as evidence that gun ownership deters crime. (see, for instance, this 2004 sheet of talking points from the Gun Owners Foundation). Others have challenged this conclusion, however, citing data showing that the number of burglaries in the 10 years spanning the passing of the ordinance remains roughly the same, while burglaries dropped in the city of Morton Grove following their gun ban.[4]. These statistics are in turn refuted because the report in question lacked important considerations such as porpotions for the population and growth over time. Current statistics indicate that Kennesaw's crime rate is lower compared to surrounding cities like Marietta, Smyrna, Alpharetta, or Atlanta. 3. ^ Gary Kleck (1991). Deejne, can you please make up one more argument like the one you had earlier. If Americans didnt have guns the military would take over the streets right now
![]() I mean youre seriously a very funny guy. That was honestly a good laugh. I bet you can come up with something like that again...please. Thanks ![]() |

deejne, i agree man, everyone in America should have a gun because its way more safer than only criminals having a gun and ofcourse to keep the military from the street
![]() Omg.... ![]() Once again reading this thread i go from being totally amazed to laughing to being amazed again. Great read though. Instead of watching a good movie on tv im just sitting here waiting for Deejne's next argument. Way more amusing. |

My point is that, with a certain level of gun control (you have to pass a psycho test and have something as a "drivers licence" for a gun, every gun is registered with your name including ballistic examination) you are also not allowed to carry it with you loaded on public (unless you need it for your job). So even if you want to do target shooting you have to load it at the place and unload it on your way back. Why? This is supposed to prevent one thing - blackout, we all were there, we all were close to killing someone. Shootings? Yes there are shootings, but in 99 pct. of cases it's criminals (mainly Albanians, Kavkhaz guys) solving their own thing, you'll never ever get in touch with a gun or you never hear shooting because these things happen discretly. Obviously the chance that there is a contract on you and someone is going to kill you or is just goint to shoot at you for fun is not that big either. If you wan't an illegal gun you need it for a job, and the job is not to shoot at some average Joe just for fun. There is practically NO shooting happening with legally registered guns - mainly people DON'T feel the need to have a gun - and therefore the possesion is very low - which is apparently the main reason. It's not like someone goes lunatic, grabs a shotgun and goes for it, I don't remember one single case like this ever happening. Also, the myth that you'll be able to defend yourself - it's not that simple to pull the trigger facing a human if you're not trained and 90 pct. of people would even not be capable of that. And if ther will be a granny pointing at me with a shotgun and I'll have a gun? Hell I'll wipe her out in stress! If you are a witness of shooting - get down, noone is shooting at you and let the police solve it. I am a big fan of firearms myself, I had a chance to shoot with all kinds of firearms including the M61 machine gun and I love target shooting - but I am glad I don't carry them, because there were cases already, when I would use them and I could have easily killed or crippled someone.

Maybe you're the retard? :D Sorry but to me, willingly rendering yourself defenseless and at the mercy and whim of any and every criminal that cares to happen along is what's retarded here. By the way, I noticed that you and few other tools took the opportunity the other day to take pot-shots at me in some lame thread, saying I "argue the same things over and over endlessly"... but the irony in that accusation Franck is that YOU are the one who has posted and cocked off like an idiot (like you are doing in this thread) on virtually every single gun discussion thread I can recall. Not only that but you've posted your same juvenile taunts and drivel in nearly every single thread discussing religion. Over and over and over and over, your line of mouthy BS is the same year after year. I just found it kind of funny that in light of all that there you were pointing that finger at me. Your hypocrisy is stunning. ![]()

Take for instance the city I live in, Chicago. There are extremely strict gun laws in Chicago. You more or less can't own a gun unless you're in law enforcement. Yet Chicago has a shitload of shootings in parts of the city. Then take a small town in Montana. Every single person in that small town owns a gun of sort, many times numerous ones. Yet they may have never had a single murder in the history of their town. While some people are wording it dumb, there really isn't a correlation of crimes increasing as guns become more readily available. It's a society issue. Those who want to kill someone will find a gun somehow. Banning them does little. Unless you plan to make it a nationwide ban, stop gun makers from making weapons, and institute extremely harsh sentences for possessing them, nothing will change. I live in a wealthy part of Chicago. We have no major crimes. No murders, no shootings. I go 20 miles South and there will be 20 shootings every weekend. We have the same laws, same punishments. The issue is about what our society is like and the effects of poverty, not the particular gun law. |

Well one thing for sure, banning guns wont stop guns in the hands of criminals or gangs.
So banning guns really puts the favor of intimidation and domination in the hands of gangs and criminals at least right now any gang member or criminal robbing a house has to consider the possibility of the owners being able to defend themselves with guns. Not to mantion banning guns would certainly create a serious break in the entirety of the country along the lines of a civil war. There are plenty of militia's including my local militia that will not disarm hell or high water. I myself will fight and die for the right to have a fire arm.

![]() "From my cold dead hands" - Charlton Heston I'm almost glad the poor guy didn't have to live through witnessing four supreme court justices betray their country with their treasonous opinion. That says it all. That amendment was supposed to be for militas because they wanted that if the government didn't work it could be over turned. That was muskets against muskets those days are over.

My thoughts on the ruling is that it was right. It's a constitutional amendment, nothing we can do about it.
But I do think things need to change. I do think a new Amendment needs to be ratified. As someone already mentioned, the 2nd Amendment was made at a time when weapons were extremely tame. Now we're dealing with weapons that can get off hundreds of rounds within a minute. That can pierce through just about anything. Technology has changed and so should our country's laws. It'll never happen since a large percent of this country is stuck in 1930 still. Still believes the Earth is 6,000 years old and negroes threaten their way of life. Believe the founding fathers somehow could foresee hundreds of years in the future. It's why we are the only country in the Western world without national healthcare. Why we are so far from creating technology that could take us off oil. The country just isn't evolving with the times, and we're all going to hit some hard times because of it (and if you're playing the market right now, you already are). |

computers weren't around back then either, so should we not have freedom of speech on the internet? and if you don't think the forefathers weren't predicting this tyrannical state we currently live in, you don't know squat about our actual history. you ever think its not evolving because criminals run it? the forefathers knew this was going to happen, and thats why we are LUCKY to have the bill of rights, thank you Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. to all you foreign tards who think we're a bunch of rednecked retards running around like cowboys, maybe you guys are a little upset theres nothing you can do to fix your country besides be a good submissive little slave that you are. have fun with your commie ass health care and losing 50% of your money to tax so little billy can get his broken arm fixed for "free"

I wish i know who wrote this on gfy. I copied and pasted it from another thread but no clue who wrote it here. Anyway, it's so funny and true. This so describes people like Geedub and Deejne and tons of others.
------------ Unlike many other countries in the developed world, where it is almost traditional to travel internationally soon after graduation, most americans will never stray outside their own borders; so they get no real firsthand experience of what the rest of the world is like, and can only form opinions based on what they were taught in school (not much) and what they see on TV (typically biased). You pledge allegience to the flag every morning in school; proceed to learn about Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Paul Revere, Lewis and Clark, Slavery, the US Civil War, how approxiately a dozen Americans defeated the entire English army, then Hitlers army. And that about sums up all the world history you'll get, at least until college (university), if you attend. Those with more worldly experience may have visited the 3rd world country below them, Mexico, or (what they consider) the 51st State above them, Canada. Some may consider Hawaii an international destination. I would guess less than 1% of Americans have gone any further. I have met a scary number of adults here who think that England is still ruled by the Queen and that the USA is the only country with 'Freedom' or 'Democracy' or toilet paper. They do try to give you that impression. Call it patriotism or propaganda, but this country is more fanatically in love with itself than any other. It really puts itself on a pedastool. Flags on everything. Declarations of 'Land of the Free, Home of the Brave', 'These Colors Don't Run', and other silly solgans on billboards. Businesses even whore out 911 in radio commercials, using patriotism to push product. Politicans compete with eachother on how many times they can incorporate the phrase 'Greatest Nation On Earth' into their speeches. It would border on bizarre if you weren't so used to it. So of course, with all that around them, a lot of people believe it. But all the flag-waving and rhetoric would be no more than annoying, if not for the fact that it is blinding the population to abuses of power. America is not a facist regime Yet. I don't know that it ever could be. But they are certainly putting the tools in place to make that a possibility. And that's far more significant than the particular individual who happens to take office. |

I cannot even remember one single time when an American went off on a multi-post spree of complaints about any one particular issue of law or policy in a foreign land, yet it occurs here on a daily basis. I guess if you know that you are destined to always be a punk bitch in your own country, it might provide some sense of relief to vent towards those who do live in a free society.

They don't answer to the will of the people at all. They answer to the law. The will of the people at one time was to not allow blacks to go to the same school as whites. Does that make those Supreme Court Justices traitors?

As for the 50% of our money to tax, you are naming a small fraction of the countries and a small fraction of their population. There are also a lot of Americans paying over 50% of their money to the government, and can't get their health care for free. When all is said and done, you can try and break up the taxes all you want, but we end up paying just as much as other countries. They get more for their money though. |
