We are home now. Things are good. They are not back to normal but things are good becasue we are home and feeling more stable.

I want to thank everyone for there well wishes. I read each and every one of these.

I especially want to thank Paper Street Cash's Amar for the wonderful Baby gift basket.
My wife and I are very thankful for that. IT was very very nice. Thank you Amar.

My daughter is doing better. We arent getting much sleep but this is all normal in the healing process. She had a pretty major surgery done on her cleft lip. It was a very severe case. The surgery was a success from the start, it was the anstesia that she crashed on and post op issues that were the problems.

Still normal recover time is rough on a baby for such a surgery even if all does go normal it is still tough. But we are worlds better than before and happy to be home. Still she's in a shitload of pain, but shes tough.

Id post pics of before and after but my wife has asked me not to do so at this time.
Im sure the pics would be used against me in silly posts in the future. I could handle it. But my wife cant. So I wont be posting any pics at this time.

Scarry thing is we have to go back in January for a more difficult surgery on her cleft palate. This surgery was on her cleft lip. January will be on her palate.

ALready we are looking at using different drugs and Anstesia for that. Cant imagine going through this all over again.

Im back in ICU. And im in ICU right now as i type this. It feels like we were just here.
Reading this thread again and no re-living it literally.

My daughter had her cleft Palate Surgery Yesterday.
The surgery was fine but she had complications with breathing and stopped breating again.

Landed us in the ICU all night. Again.

Very rough night.. She's breathing on her own now. Very unexpected recovery. We were hoping for the best and its happened all over again.

Damn that sucks man, I went to the hospital once with my cousin when he had surgery on his cleft lip, I was to young to really notice much, probably around 7, that's some serious stuff.

Good luck and I hope she does good. I'd hate to see bad shit happen to you, you're one of the better posters on this board.

More fucked up news. My daughter had eartubes put in as well during surgery.

We just looked on her bed her at icu. One fell out. Shit.... They are installed pretty deep into the head. But all her thrashing last night pushed it out.
