You do relaize that Osama operated out of AFGHANISTAN. And that the part of Pakistan Osama is preported to being shares a border with AFGHANISTAN. The fact that it was the Taiban that let Osama train his "troops" there for years is motivation enough to deal with them finally and forever right now. what do you want the Taliban to take over again to Osama and his ilk can have safe harbor again? ther is a HUGE diference betwen the Iraq war and the war in Afghanistan. The only problem with the war in Afghanistan is that Bush basically igored it to go to war with Iraq.

If one group controls 90% of a country that in definition is stable. Unless we plan on killing 10,000s of people the Taliban will always be there. Unless we plan on invading Pakistan the Taliban will always be there. Diplomacy with the Taliban is the only thing that will stop 10s of thousands of innocent people from dying or even more if we invade Pakistan, making them 100x more unstable than Iraq. Oh yeah they have nukes that could fall into militants hands.

In recent days the Taliban has been willing to go to the table. They now have a cease fire with Pakistan.

The USA can not afford to fight this war. Our military is at its weakest point in a long time and we are on the verge of financial collapse. Just like the Taliban said we would be

And I knew Obama was going to do this. That does not mean I have to like it. Bush wanted to invade Iran that would not have been ok either.

Osama is not in Afghanistan he might be in Pakistan but most likely is already dead. Not too many people on dialysis can live in caves and villages without electricity. Life expectancy in ideal conditions for someone on dialysis is 5 years.
