Yeah it's ashame you lost out. It's more common practice to use 20-40% down in my experience. But either way you're still out money and that's not right.

In my opinion it's always a smart idea to have the freelanced work backed by another skilled worker, just in case something goes wrong. So if his worker flaked out on him, he has another one ready to go. That way the customer will almost never get fucked over.

Actually, that is what happened.. And my backup designer delivered...

He didn't get scammed..

I was going to have the page done again for him, but he said never mind and said I could send him some traffic.. But he never gave me a link to send too..

Again, I didn't resell your templates and people are aware of this. I copied your style and sold some templates, that's it.

It's pretty easy to make shapes and text and throw a stroke around it and call it a design. I could have Jon Clark building galleries just like yours in about 10 minutes time.

You can hate me, I don't care. You're still hustling for $15 galleries and I've billed close to $70k in design and development work since the new year.

1. client came to me because he was very upset he had been ripped off, he saw work he just bought from jason on my site
2. he showed me the work he had been sold and it was downloaded from my site and then sold by jason (candyflip)

Client got designs that looked like yours, had different colors and different sponsors. I did not just take your galleries and resell them. I made galleries that looked like yours, simple as that. There was never anything download from you and sold to anyone else. If the links were up still, this would be obivious...as it has been to everyone else for years.

man there are people on gfy who have family members whom they protect and hide who have scammed for $1,000s and $1,000s. More than one person has been scammed and the game keeps going.

Again, I made templates that looked just like yours. That is what he was he brought to your attention. Not that he wanted a gallery from Sponsor A and I just downloaded one of your Sponsor A galleries and sold it to him...which is what you want people to believe.

That is simply not the case. He got galleries that looked like yours, different colors, different sponsors, different text. They were made in the same style as yours. It's really that simple and the only reason you can't or won't see that is because you really think that people here care. Guess what...they don't.
