Anybody know how to get actual help from Adsense support?
I got a message that one of my sites was in violation of their rules and so they wouldn't show ads on it. Well, the site is seriously old, I haven't touched it in years and I just can't see what on it would be a violation of anything. I made it before I even had the slightest clue about SEO so there is no trickery. The only thing it is guilty of is being seriously out of date and ugly.
The site doesn't really make any money from them anyway..couple clicks a month..but since I am the kind of webmaster that never intentionally breaks any rules I am more concerned with their being a mark on my adsense account. I replied to the email and asked what on the page was a violation and I got a reply that they weren't allowed to comment on the actual pages. I asked if I could ask for a review of why it was marked as a violation as I was concerned with having that mark on my account but she still said they couldn't help. So, is there anyway to actually get help from adsense on why a page is marked as a violation? |

Sarah, those don't add up as anything negative or a mark against you. Just don't run adsense on it you wont get paid for it. I've had several sites the same thing happen and still get paid like clockwork on my active ones.
Google has a very fine line and they are cryotic about their rules so it's a crapshoot sometimes. For example. if you site had no content on it, that will get it flagged. ![]()
