Beat A Blood Test

Alright, I have been searching for a few hours now on a THC/Marijuana cleanser. I have a blood test coming up.. anywhere from within the next 10-30 days. I need some opinions, and figured GFY is the right place. At least for this type of question.

I smoke at least once a week, rarely 2 times. When I smoke, I don't just get high to the point where I am calm, I prefer to get stoned. Not hallucinating, but I am sure you get the idea. I would say 2 blunts regularly, but a few weekends ago we smoke about 3 blunts each. Usually White Owl size. Average body fat percentage.

I would like something I can take, but also some ideas that would help that I could do daily instead of just buying a kit.

Just to clarify, and bump should I even be worried because:

This test is not a test to see if I do drugs. This is a test to see why I am sleeping so much, to see if I have a low blood count, so on and so forth. I guess you could say a blood test check up.

Unless it's a drug test, they aren't going to test for drugs. It's that simple. Even if the doctor did test you and found THC in your system, what's he/she going to do, turn you in? Having marijuana in your system isn't illegal in and of itself, possessing it is.

To clear things up:

1) I am obviously over 18. The doctor is not just some doctor. He is great friends (golfing buddies) with my parents. I would say even better friends with my girlfriends parents.

2) I don't want the damn test. My girlfriend has set it up along with my parents because I have a history of blood trouble. I am anemic, often suffer from low blood count.

3) They are worried because I sleep so much (yes, most likely because of the weed and I know if I quit, I should gain more energy), I don't do many of the things I use to. Including eating (What happen to the munchies? lol).

4) I was told by my friends, who been smoking way before I did (most literally started at age 9-12) that a blood test would be bad because it would still show up if you had THC in your system. Of course I know I smoke weed, but my girlfriend is seriously against drugs because of her brother, and I rather not want the parents on either side finding out.

But according to your all advice, they won't test at all. Well, looks like I'll be smoking this weekend.

What they check for in the lab depends on what the doctor orders. If he runs a full blood work panel, they may very well check for everything. Which could include drugs in your system. Better to cut off the weed until after your test.

Your blood test will be a standard CBC at most and more likely just a hemoglobin/iron test. I am anemic and get the things all of the damn time.
Next the doctor does not do the test a fucking lab does, the doctor just orders the test. Unless it is just a red blood cell finger prick and then it is a nurse who does and that just measures the red blood cells. This means the doctor only sees the results for what he ordered - i.e. hemoglobin, red blood cells, iron, and maybe b-12.

As side notes, if your that paranoid go to some health food stores and pick up some assorted hemp foods. Start eating them and make it clear to your family that you are via hints and suggestions. Though what parents really flip if their adult child is smoking some weed.

Lastly what fucking weed makes you hallucinate - no matter how much you smoke. No seriously what type is it?

A full blood panel does not check for everything. Have you really seen everything they can and do test for on those forms? You do know many of those tests such as just an iron test alone requires 1 vial alone. A cbc adds another 2 vials. Then they can not just willy nilly test for things like STD's and such.

Aftershock: Weed does make you hallucinate Aftershock. I haven't had that much in awhile, but I remember in my hay days I would smoke and my friends would have the camcorder record me talking to nothingness and randomly wiping "bugs" off of my body.

Even though if my parents did find out, I could easily say "I am 21 and can do whatever I want" and stick out my tongue and pull down my pants and moon them, I really have them not know about it which is why I don't want them to know that their adult child smokes weed.

I know doctor/patient laws protect me. But when it comes to your doctor being more like an uncle, I think it is different. I could easily sue him for his house and wife if he ever did, but that isn't me.

No cause for alarm, if you're worried at all, just hold off smoking until your test. you're hardly a chronic pothead, it should wash out of your system fairly easily with abstinence. if you want to flush your system quickyl without making yourself vomit up pickle brine or vinegar, hammer down a couple big ass jugs of cranberry juice. juice, not cocktail...

May I suggest that the reason you sleep to much is 'cause you get stone!!!! DUH.

No blood test required, no anti-test kit required. Stop smoking pot and you'll sleep a lot less. Personally I like sleeping, but you do what you want.

My doctor is good. The lab he sends us to takes 6 vials of blood.The list of things he checks for is long. Yes I know what they can check for. They can test for STD's if you ask them too.

Just to be safe take the test even though you do not want to. You could have a medical condition that is making you tired. It is always better to be safe then sorry. As for checking for weed I was just kidding with you. I doubt they check for that. If everything comes back as fine then you know the weed is making you tired.

Your doctor may be good, but again it is labs and lab techs that test blood. They also have mandatory minimum amounts of blood that must be collected for each type of test. Please do not try to argue this to me. I have had more needles in me and blood drawn than you have had cock inside of you. From run of the mill hospitals to major university hospitals and ubber specialists doing it, and having to get redraws because they did not have enough blood to run all of the panels.

Then as I said nobody just runs a test everything blood test - that goes into the hundreds of possible tests. Since this is also not a drug test they would just as likely test to see if he was pregnant, or has arsenic in his system as they would for THC.

Drinking vinegar, water, etc. Really is not going to change your blood that much. Well if you drink tons of water to change the level of electrolytes in your blood you could - also could be harmful and fuck with normal tests. Juices would just adjust blood sugar at most.

They want to see why he is sluggish and tired. They will be testing for anemia, iron, b-12, and a few other deficiencies at most along side a standard workup (CBC) that just shows the very damn basics. Such as white blood cell count (plus differential count), red blood cell count (plus distribution width), hemoglobin, platelet count (plus mean count/volume), hematocrit, and possibly MCV, MCH, and MCHC.

First off I was not arguing with you. If you would actually read what was written you would see that. I said my doctor is good and has the LAB draw 6 vials. No where did it say my doctor tested the blood. You also have no idea how many blood tests people on here have had. There are people on here that have long term illnesses and cancer. Frankly, I would tell him flat out that I know you're great friends with my folks, but I fully expect our patient doctor discussions to remain as such, and I am 100% serious. Pending his agreement, I would then flat out tell him I smoke weed once in a while.

Because you know what, they dont give a shit. They NEED the information or ALL of the tests are useless!
