It was on MSNBC, and fucking damn. I do not watch Dateline, so I have no idea what they show, but from the narrative, it would appear that it must be tamer.

Anyways, they nail this dude, and of course it is his first time, never done it before. He enters the house naked, then runs off in his towel. I guess this was before they had the police or joint task force or something. All the same, apparently within 24 hours this dude is back in chat, and sets up a meeting with another kid 24 hours later at some McDonalds.

WTF??

Of course Hansen is there, outside the McDonalds, to confront the dude.

I love that show.

I love all the storys the pedos have to tell Hanson like he's in charge of them going to jail or not.

The plate of cookies and lemonaid they have for them makes me laugh too.

Notice how they almost always have a cookie while Hanson talks to them?

That was the same fucking episode!!

I guess even though they did not have the cops outside, they still all were sent to prison for 2-5 years, and 8-10 years supervision.

I do not watch that much TV, and when I do. It is typically a few shows on Bravo, HGTV, History or alike. I do not follow a lot of the pop culture shows.

Today I was channel flicking during some down time, and happened across it. I have heard more on GFY about this Chris Hansen dude then anything. I have not watched Dateline in probably 15 years. But I had heard about this 'Predator' show from the GF, and GFY reads.

Anyways, only caught the one episode, but that was more than enough of, 'WTF?!?!', for me.

Can't believe you haven't run across it before this - NBC and MSNBC run it almost as much as USA runs the Law and Order shows. For several years it's been part of the American vocabulary --- Conan O'Brian did a hysterical takeoff on it as part of the opening skit when he hosted the Emmys a few years ago --- a year or two ago, South Park did a whole takeoff on it.

(And the rabbi was an unbelievable episode, but the most incredible one was the naked guy with the cat and the Cool Whip.)

As a side note, my wife and I were out to dinner last month at a very nice restaurant. I ordered a glass of wine, and the waiter asked my wife if she wanted one too. She didn't, but the waiter said "If you had said yes, I was going to have to card you." (My wife is *well* over drinking age lol, but when she dresses up, she looks a lot younger.) We asked the waiter how old he thought she was, and he said "Maybe 17 or so."
The rest of the night, we couldn't help ourselves from "Have a seat....right over there" and "I made some sweet tea for you" and "I'll be right there as soon as I put away the laundry" and "I always carry condoms" and "You're naked, there's a cat running around, there's Cool Whip" references

the ones arrested in the southern california stings only got about a month, while the ones in the midwest got a few years.

Yep. Out of all the shows you mentioned, not one of them I watch. Conan, South Park, and L&O I will catch on occasion. But I simply do not watch much TV. Especially network.

Best show ever. Forget the fact they are pedophiles and could likely hurt someone. They are soo mentally handicapped they actually go through with meeting up with the girl.. In some cases travelling multiple hours by bus!
