several reasons . i think every install also includes a prepackaged install , so half of it is itself repeated , you will find this huge file in Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat X.XX\Setup Files\RdrBigXXX\ENU

called data1.cab , you can delete this

The acrobat dll itself is 10mb , the rest is plugins
