search words and my blog (another newbie question)

Only lately have I started attaching all sorts of.. what I think would be.. key words to every blog I post on my site. I will attach maybe 20-30 words per post now, and this is getting me sooo much fucking spam in my comments that it literally takes me 30 mins a day deleting the 100 spam messages 1 by 1 and picking out the 3 or 4 comments made my members so nobody gets upset that their comments aren't posted.

Well everyone I have asked the question "Does it really help my site attaching all of these words to my blog? Does it really make any difference when people search for these words?" and everyone says something like "Well it couldn't HURT" sigh.. Surely my site is never going to appear on page 1 or 2 of Google because I attached the words "girl/girl" or "pigtails" to 30 of my posts?

So SEO experts, what do you say? If I put up a pic of Ashley Fires and I is it really helpful for me to attach 30 diff words to the blog or should I not bother? What does putting all of those words on my blog really help me? And what about using certain words for stuff like the descriptions of my scenes or my replies to public comments, should I be trying to put keywords in there too?

i think most of the SEO magic is in the <title> tag of your page/post and what specific relevant words are linked to. i'm not heavy into that shit like a lot of these gurus but i know better than to name my page index2.html. also Meta tag your pics of ashley or whatever and see what happens

Just be descriptive about the content and don't use keywords that are out of place.

"30 different keywords" isn't going to do anything for you. Describe the post with a few relevant keywords that actually makes sense.

For example: handjob, tugjobs, memphis monroe

Those would be fair, and relevant, keywords for a TugJobs scene starring Memphis Monroe.

I'm not throwing just any words into there, they are relevant! But in the past I would post a pic of Asley and I and I would tag is "Ashley Fires, girl/girl, pics"
Where as lately I would tag it with "Ashley Fires, AshleyFires.com, lesbian, girl/girl, pussy licking, stockings, heels, pussy licking, shaved pussy, sexy pics, schoolgirl skirt, behind the scenes" or something like that.. am I wasting my time?

It's not a total waste of time, but it's not a sure-fire approach either.

Those words are important, but if you truly want the words to hold some weight, then they would need to also appear in your title, description and keywords (meta info). There are wordpress plugins that can help with this if that is what you are using.

BUT, you can also take this approach too far and be penalized. It's a high wire act.

Like Sly said, make the tags relevant. Tags like "sexy pics" could basically be tagged in every post in your blog, and then you're just creating duplicate pages with the same content and not using tags effectively. Tags like "Ashely Fires" and "AshleyFires.com" are also basically the same thing. The ".com" isn't going to make a difference. If you want the ".com" for SE purposes, add it within your post, but don't double up the tag.

The purpose of using tags is to break down the categories even further, almost like a description. For example, say it's a big tits post: Categories could be "Big Tits, Videos." Tag could be "titty fucking, big tits round asses." Also, I think having too many tags in one post is pretty confusing too and could be considered spamming.

Also, for your comment spam, use plugins to catch that. Use Akismet or WP-SpamFree Anti-Spam. Those plugins should take care of that without manual intervention.

That entry does not make sense and probably appears as spam. Keyword stuffing.

Her post implied they were tags and that wasn't how the post was formatted. I hope that's the case anyway.

Aaliyah, lets see the blog..

Focus less on the tags and more on writing longer text with long tail searches

What kind of tag? keyword? description? alt? Think we need to see the blog entry.

tag a la 'tag cloud'. I agree.

and Aaliyah, tags become pages, so your 'foot-fetish' tag will become .com/foot-fetish/index.html so that page should have foot-fetish in the title, and in the meta description along with a sprinkling of it in the posts.

Like someone else mentioned, tags aren't the best thing to focus on but it is one piece of the puzzle.

I've never heard of spam penalties or anything like that before fuck I don't want my site marked as spam? So now I have to worry about if I use these keywords TOO MUCH?!

Well there isn't one blog post in particular that I'm asking about..
but Here's the post of Ashley Fires and I:
http://blog.aaliyahlove.com/2009/06/...e-webcam-show/

and here's the tags I used:
Aaliyah Love, AaliyahLove.com, Ashley Fires, AshleyFires.com, Behind The Scenes, blondes, cotton panties, foot fetish, girl/girl, lesbian, members show, photo shoots, pics, pussy licking, toes, webcam, webcam show

so I'm probably doing this all wrong, but that is why I asked

Are you saying this because one of my pages are named index2.html and if so where? So after reading all of your responses I guess I am doing it all wrong, but I am still not too sure about how to do it right?
I wasn't aware that I was "keyword stuffing" and need to stop it right away hehe

You are asking about tags, they used to help and now they don't. The big aggregation sites are worthless at this point so just include a few that are relevant and leave it at that.

Well, using keywords in my tags, in my comments titles, anywhere on my website.. so you say they don't help at all anymore? Why?

No, they have their benefits. Tags got popular because places like hahahahahahahahahaha (guess that place is banned here, anyhow a blog post aggregation site) would link to your pages based on your specific tags. If you put 30 tags in you got traffic from those 30 keyword searches on their site. Now that site and just about all others like it are worthless so you really don't have any added benefit from extra tags. I'd keep it to a handful of good ones so it doesn't appear spammy to the big G.

Ok then here's another question.. how do you know if Google considers your site, your blog, whatever.. spammy? Now I'm kinda worried even though I've only been using this method for about 2 months.. ??

You don't really until you see your SE positions dropping.
