Maybe I should believe what they tell me instead of my lying eyes when I read the bill..
i barely know what that says, but i'm going to take a wild guess and say that it's to protect the consumer who loses the ability to protect 'private health insurance' while not being able to pay the premiums. i THINK.. i'm guessing

but i have no idea where you came up with what you're suggesting in that mess

State Health Care will not close private Health Care. We have State Health Care in Europe and we have companies like BUPA.

The cost of the US system is way more than the European system and over all it's worse. Or the life expectancy in the US would compete with countries in Europe. It does not.

Give people and companies the option, they can got private or State. Then until more State hospitals are built, the State tells the private ones what the treatment costs. The private hospitals will come around.

If you only read that section then I can see where you would have that impression... but it isn't what it says at all... in this bill (which is the House version and won't see the light of day) all private plans currently in existence will no longer be able to add new policy holders but are still in effect... all new policies will be offered through the network... this includes private plans. It doesn't say anything about eliminating private plans... period.

Even in his own words people don't believe he means this, that is funny!.
The banks are starting to repay the money. There was no option to saving the car industry, the affect on the whole country would of been devestating. A lot of the Car Industry costs were private health insurance.

Obama has been in power for a few months and is getting to grip with the terrible state of the economy that he inherited. Anyone who kids themselves that it's his fault is either not dealing with a full deck or thinks we are stupid enough to swallow it.

As for the guys who think non ES citizens should not comment on how the US is run is also dealing with half a deck of cards. These guys are often the ones who tell us how marvelous the US and how it's the biggest economy in the world, might not be now Bush has had 8 years of raping it, so we all have every right to comment.

Leave your boxes sometimnes and think outside of them. These non points are useless and show the weakness of your case, like blaming it on lefties.

The money private insurance costs a lot will disappear whether there is something in the bill of not. I beleive very often companies pay insurance, they will see it as a way of cutting costs. Yes the right wing Repubs will see a way to save money and go for it.

People have given way too much weight to Obama's words.

Look at his actions...

Republicans and Democrats want you arguing over bullshit while they keep passing laws... They are not smart enough to write the laws or qualified to manage the changes.

Politics is all just a act and we have no idea what the hell is going on.

"Believe" what you want, we don't know shit.
