Some viruses are suspected to trigger cancer. AFAIK they've confirmed infectious cancers in animals such as dogs and Tasmanian devils but not in humans yet.

Good luck Paul!

Was just thinking last week I hadn't seen on the boards for a while. After what you went through nursing Eva back after her accident, you two are truly meant for each other.

I certainly am lucky. My friends all said I was the only guy they know who who struck gold when I married Eva. Eleven years today and I forgot.

I should be in trouble but Eva understands, going out and got a plan to surprise her brewing.

I will keep this thread on my bookmarks and update as and when I have something to tell you. Going out of the house for the first time in 8 weeks is sort of news. LOL

I tried to get a check for Colon Cancer and my doctor refused saying I was too young! I guess I am going to have to pay for it myself but I will do it. A GF of mine has colon cancer and she is in her early 40s like me.
My local doctor said I was all clear of cancer, it was only the hospital who saw it on a CT scan. And it was very advanced. The good thing about National Health is you insist and they have to send you to the hospital to do the tests and the doctors are not bound by what an insurance company will pay for.

Ask the hospital for a CT or MRI scan to be safe.

Thanks for taking the time to talk about your cancer. It can be hard for some cancer patients to do this, but the more we talk about it and get it into peoples minds that it is something anyone can get then the more people that will be saved by early detection. Good on ya!

You and Eva have been rocks for each other now. You both are very lucky to have each other. I am wishing you strength and a fast recovery

The shocking thing for me about the radiation treatment was the age of some of the women there. Most of the men were 50 and upwards, some of the women were more 30 and upwards. Breast and cervical cancer, we talked about our ailments while we were waiting our turn to go under the machine.

GET CHECKED OUT EARLY.

Thank you all. Just to let you know Paul is doing better in these day.

He had problem with his ears could not hear and our TV was so loud that you could be on the street and still could here it.
The doctors were saying to wait it could be caused by the radiation , but he had water in his ears and on Wednesday they fixed it.
Now when I work at home I think how quiet it is. Is everything all right? I can hear myself think.

It makes him feel better.

Paul is not strong enough to do a lot of work, but I got him sorting pictures for affiliates.
I will get him to post as well. He does get bored just sitting and not doing a lot.

It's not just dangerous to women either.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22956090/
---
ATLANTA - The sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer in women is poised to become one of the leading causes of oral cancer in men, according to a new study.

The HPV virus now causes as many cancers of the upper throat as tobacco and alcohol, probably due both to an increase in oral sex and the decline in smoking, researchers say.

The only available vaccine against HPV, made by Merck & Co., is currently given only to girls and young women. But Merck plans this year to ask government permission to offer the shot to boys.
