keep reading this outsourcing shit on this thread and prompted me to visit her site. so i read this Zuzana Media, a North Carolina Inc. was founded in the winter of 2004. Starting as a small company, Zuzana Designs, has evolved into a design force of over 20 designers/developers worldwide.

as i understand she had some fulltime designers and developers that are scattered worldwide, so why the outsourcing hate? as i know webinc, bluewire, bluedesignstudios, and some other big adult designing here were do the same?

Mightyjoe the only people that keep saying that are other designers and people that really hate to see a successful female in a male world. None of them are my clients or ever worked with me. As you can see I ignore them as all they are trying to do is get me worked up. I don't have time for that.

I have myself and 4 others in North Carolina that work with me. From designers/ programmers to video editors. I also have a lead designer in Australia that has been introduced here on the forum last year that used to work for Blue Design studio for over 10 years. He runs my office in Australia and is awesome at what he does. He is on when I go to bed at night, and still on I wake keeping projects getting done all around the clock and being as time efficient as we can be to assure all my clients are happy.

I have a toonist and his friend that have been full time with my company for 5+ years now that are not in North Carolina but that has been said here a dozen times too. It cracks me up that people think they know my business better than I do. I work from 5am-11pm EST 7 days a week designing myself and making sure every single project that goes to any of my clients is perfect and exactly what the client has asked for.

Really all the hate does from these people is make themselves look silly and create more work for me and my company. With that being said thanks for all the people that came to me over the last couple days to get the design special and I look forward to a successful 2010 and my 5th year in business. No Zuzanadesigns for me anymore...I regret the fact I even ordered a design last year. When you contact for some faults you find in the cut (made by a recommended person, paid $250 for the cut to css) they only produce silence...zero...I tried to contact them several times and gave some time to respond. I expected more customer service. Now I have to hire someone else to solve the image that was badly cut.

Gary, you hired me to do a tube design for you and I did exactly that and you loved it. I delivered it to Konrad so he could cut the psd and install his script into it. You haven't sent me a single email to me since then. You made a post on my board on the 21st saying that the design was implemented and thanking me. I never heard a single complaint until tonight when you posted on my board to which I promptly responded.

You ordered and paid for a tube design psd from me. You purchased the scripting from Konrad and paid him directly for that. I fully completed my job of doing the design. If you have a problem with the scripting, it needs to be handled by Konrad because that is his responsibility.

Hi Sarah, that is correct, so please do not misunderstand that the design is looking good. There is no misunderstanding about this and I am not angry, just disappointed. When delivered to Konrad the logo has been cut (missing an edge on a corner). There has been fault (small but important) in the video design and I contacted you both per email about this while I asked earlier to Konrad to correct this while he was still working on it (I will post details on your pages) and got the response back: it is not in the design so I will not do it...this is not the right approach when dealing with a problem you experience while implementing. He could at least have contacted you about this. If I notice in the design on the videos page there is no join link implemented underneath the videos and I ask to put it in why not put it in (where else would I make sales with if this is not in) and correct the small thingy with the logo? Now I am no pro in this and have struggle with new software for me and try to figure out myself how to correct while I could have expected this from either you or Konrad to fix this for me. What I understand this from your response is that you did not know, do not know what the reason is...I used your email address, perhaps something went wrong there. Since you respond now we can solve this matter. I am still a happy customer if you can both solve this thing with the logo and if you can take a look at the color and if I used the right font type on the join link (videos page)? You can imagine one gets a bad feeling when you have the feeling you have not been heard.

Are you completely dilusional? First, had you taken the time to read Gary's post above, I wasn't hired to do the cutting which is where his confusion came in and he came and apologized for it. Finding the need to defend myself when I'm called a bitch because you flaked on me and I fired you for the job is not me harrassing you. I never once wrote you on ICQ and never attacked you until I defended myself.I hired you in March, and you tried one logo design which looked like you had just thrown it together. You said you would make changes on it and then you disappeared for months.

You finally came back after "family problems" to do another shot (that was late of course). I had some changes to this and then that's when the excuses came in...so called family problems, etc. It wasn't until LONG after the due date that I said to cancel the order and give me a refund. It wasn't until after that you threw another logo together to try to keep from being fired, although the damage was already done and I didn't want to deal with you anymore.

So what I got for $75 was 2 horrible logo concepts, a lot of excuses, a lot of missed due dates, and absolutely nothing in the end besides you acting like it's somehow my fault that you are a flake. You can go ahead and hire your "ICQ lawyers" lol. That statement alone just shows how unstable you are. I've left you alone on the boards. It wasn't until you blew at me that I felt I needed to say what happened. I stayed out of your other thread until you called me a bitch so I thought it was necessary to say what happened.

It's designers like you who give us all a bad name. Choker will never pay a deposit to another designer, and he's just one along the way that you've tainted for everyone else

What I Went Through Below from a different thread....

I saw you all over the board looking for work so I thought I would give you a logo for a PERSONAL project back in March. It was for my mainstream stuff for ME, and not for a client, so I could test you out to see how you were. Well, you went MIA for months on end, constantly giving excuses of family problems, until I finally got a logo design out that was absolutely horrible. I asked you for revisions and then you came to me asking for payment because you needed to pay hosting. All I ever got was excuse after excuse after excuse after that.

10-09-2009 = Consider it done before sunday.
10-14-2009 (Tuesday) = Hey Sarah sorry, I am currently working on it, I will post it here when done.

this is when I got a logo that looked like a recycling logo (not at all what I wanted). That same day I asked for some revisions

10-15-2009 = Hi Sarah, I will be comming up with a total new design tomorrow afternoon.
Can I ask you a favor though? I need to pay for my hosting and I just cashed my epassporte last week (forget this bill). Could you send me the $150.00 for the logo in advance? Don't worry I will make it work.

11-02-2009 (me) = Had you been on time with your work prior to your family incident, I would have been much more understanding. You've been stringing me along since before you disappeared. It's a really good thing I didn't prepay you in full and this is a prime example of why I never prepay anyone that I haven't worked with before. Because here you sit with my money, and I don't have a usable logo and you weren't on time or reliable about any of it. The very first thing you said was "consider it done on Sunday" and then didn't post anything until that Wednesday, so this has been an issue since the beginning. Remember when I gave you this back in March? Then I came to you in May and you said you'd get them done in the next few days. Then you came back in July and said you were "busy with personal things". Then you came back in August saying you were having a "bad period of time". I can't keep this going on for months and months with this. Now it's because of family problems. Apparently this is an ongoing problem and I shouldn't have given you half down in the first place.

That's fine that your family comes first before your business. But it doesn't come before my business, especially when you give me no idication of what's going on. If you are going to ignore your work, that fine...but you forfeit any right to be upset or expect anything from the people who have been waiting on you while you made that decision. And those people you keep waiting have every right to expect a refund while you ignored them.

Why is it that you would be upset about your lost time, when it's YOU that put yourself in that situation? How about my lost time as your paying client that was relying on you to do my personal logo? It's not like you were doing exactly what you should have been doing and I just backed out. You left me hanging for days on end, completely ignoring me.

I told you on the 25th that I didn't want you to do this anymore. If you decided that day to try and push something out so you didn't have to give a refund, then I'm sorry. I didn't ask you to do that. I am so dissatisfied with how this was handled, with your time management, and with the empty promises of preview dates. That's not how I like to do business. I'm very unhappy since March when I originally gave you this and I don't want you to do it and I want a refund.

.......and it's been a losing battle ever since. I have not been able to get a single response from him and even gave him the option of trying out another personal logo, all of which was ignored until I posted in another thread. Then he suddenly wrote me on ICQ pissed off that I posted in the first place and saying that he does "design stuff for Pierre (worldsex), Richard (worldsex), Patrick (thehun)" and that all of this is just beer money to him.

What's more, after making that comment he wrote asking if I wanted him to do another logo because "I never want to fight believe me."

My only reason for posting the first time in the thread was because I got fucked on this project, and it seems that he's fucked over countless other people in attempts to get his "beer money" and I shouldn't have to hold back from saying anything about it

Those aren't ICQ logs. They are logs off my message board. You took my money, didn't do your job and then didn't refund my money. At that point you lost any right to be upset when I post any kind of logs in the first place.
