Hey guys.
Anyone got a contact at DomainNameSystems.com ?

Been struggling to get a domain out of there that I bought - took me two weeks to get an EPP code that doesn't work.

Have been sending in daily support tickets for weeks, and left a stack of voicemail messages.

If someone has a direct contact to these guys / this guy - I would very muchly appreciate it.

You know you're fucked right? That guy is in the top 10 scammers of all time as far as domain registrars are concerned. His track record for being a shady operator started the day he opened shop.

May be, I don't know. But when I first registered a domain with them, some big adult companies were using them. I think TCG, too. Thats how I found them in the first place.

did you ask them if they were smart enough to take advantage of his early offerings of pre-registering .sex and .xxx domains as many did?

or if they've flat out been told to fuck off when they tried to transfer a domain away from him as many have been?

maybe he didn't fuck with a "big company" that registered a lot of domains with, but he's still an asshole with a horrible reputation.

I've been around since day one. I know exactly what his history is, as many who have been around do.

Didn't they change owners? I thought when cheapies got domainnamesystems, that was when the problems have started. Or is the owner the same guy from the start?

Gord has been the same scammer from the start. People moved domains there because he was "in the biz". He screwed over more people than I can count. I'm surprised he's still in business but if he's not responding, he may not be.

I've been trying to transfer my last two domains from DNS for over 3 weeks now. After the script failed, I tried emailing Support (4 times) and calling 3 times and never got even an autoresponder. Today I wrote a nasty email to support@ both domainnamesystems.com and cheapies.com. Guess what? BOTH are Gord. Our email string below:

corporate letterhead, if the registrant is a corporation.

additionally, a letter outlining the domain name to be transferred.

Our fax # is: 1.416.946.1794

Once these positive identification processes have been completed, and
the transfer request identified as bonafide and initiated by the
domain registrant , the transfer will be allowed to proceed.

This policy and requirement is a part of your account operating and
domain registration agreement.

Basically Rox , tone down the aggressive language , and my staff will
move forward.

Furthermore, I'm sure you made a few bucks on the domain name I had for 10 years that you tried to sell back to me for $200 before the end of the month when I forgot to renew it on the 15th - and I've also been referring others to you to register their domains for all these years.

I've turned the registrar transfer lock back ON so that no one can swipe my domains while I wait for the codes. Let me know when I can turn them off and transfer.

Were any of you around for the "anything.anything" TLDs (such as "roxanne.brown") that were supposed to become available? THAT's how I was first introduced to DomainNameSystems. I had all my domains there, and even though I sold most of them off, I was keeping the last 3 there out of loyalty. When they sold my main .com domain out from under me 2 weeks after it expired, my loyalty went bye-bye. I'm going with NameCheap now. Everyone bitches about GoDaddy (and they do suck), but getting an EPP code was easy and the transfer took place within 2 days.
