I have a Macbook that's a few years old now and it pushes a 24' monitor no problems with the mini DVI port.

Hi Adultmix,

I have a macbooc and yes - it works pretty well, but the graphics card is a little weak meaning that it will do 1024 lines, but no more.

I tried it on my LCN screen at home ant it was good for previewing video, but not really good enough to use as a monitor for typical work such as browsing and email.

What I ended up doing was buying a 27" iMac.

The new macbook will push a 24" display with no trouble at all that is what I have set up = works perfectly, you have to buy the minidisplay port to dvi adapter to make it happen though it's like $25. it will also support the native rez. I have used mine on a 30" as well and it looked perfect.

hope this helps

We use it to push 1920x1080 on the living room television and it works fine...

It doesn't exactly decode 1080p MP4 with the greatest finesse, but it handles non-intensive desktop graphics without a problem.

I'm pushing a Wacom Cintiq 21ux interactive graphics pen display with my MacBook Pro. Should be no problem.
