Going to Budapest March 5th-8th with my sisters and mom on family trip.

Whats area is the best place to stay for shopping/sights?
When booking my sister asked me how many bags do you need to check? I said none I have my hand luggage its only 3 days, she answered "but everything there is cheap we booked one bag going there and 2 bags going home each"

So it have to be close to cheap shopping areas but also somewhere close some can not miss tourist places.

If its close to some fun areas where I can go out alone and have drink or two and have fun without the fear of getting mugged or ripped off its a plus to

If there is a place for women in their early 40's to go look at guys let me know and I won't have problem dumping my sisters there while I go look at girls in their early 20's
