GTBill hasn't been deleting expired memberships since like Jan 24. I spent hours trying to figure out which members to delete and which to keep. I had tons of members who got like 15 days free because of this shit.

We got an email from Local Billing telling us of the new deal with this. Has nothing to do with any gateway or 3rd party processor.

It's a new software that Visa/Mastercard are using to spider sites with. It looks for "questionable" text.

I had to take down a scene on Claudia-Marie because one of the sentences in the description said: "And then he forced her to orgasm"

In other words this software is looking for keywords. And not only is it looking for the obvious ones...it looks for dumb ones too. I could have written: "And then after fucking Claudia-Marie tried to open a pickle jar but it wouldn't open easily and she had to FORCE it open"

And guess what? That dumbass piece of software would have seen the word "Force" and flagged my site.

This is called the BRAM regulation. And here is part of the email we got:

Mandatory changes are being issued from our banks

Some of your sites may require some changes to the text (and in some cases, images) to ensure we are able to continue working on your international sales growth. Failure to comply will result in merchant accounts being shut down, and losing rebills associated with that account. Our objective is to assist you in a speedy resolution, so that we can keep your sites performing as usual.

Who? Why? How is this determined?

Banks and card associations are using a new web-crawling software, ?G2?, to scan the internet for ?non-compliant? material. This software was developed for Visa and Mastercard as a protective measure, by searching the Internet for content that is associated with their brands. They have recently begun a systematic scan of the Internet using G2 to find (and assist them in shutting down), websites that contain material they define to be non-compliant and/or harmful to their branding.

In general, things to avoid include words in the tour that imply:

Non-consensual sex (ex: drinking, drunk, beer, alcohol, forced, raped, humiliated, sleep, and sleeping)
Violence (ex: brutal, pain, and rape)

That still doesn't explain why people aren't getting a response from GTBill and not getting paid. Regardless of this G2 software I think this would of been handled a lot better by Epoch or CCBill.

Interesting but that really has nothing to do with this issue with GTBill (GetTakenBill). They lost their merchant account or something.

This was said on another board:
GTbill did not just get the merchant processing pulled for adult sites only. This goes much deeper. They are also in trouble with mainstream processing. I do not believe this is just about adult site content being reviewed. I know too many main stream merchants that were affected as well. Try this, call support and ask what is up, then call finance and ask what is up, and then call tech, then sales. You will get 4 different answers!

This is a real shame. I really liked some of the people there. Not getting paid sucks but not being told the truth or even given an update on the issue sucks even more. It just shows they don't give a shit about us. Who cares if we have families to feed? Thank God all my eggs weren't in that basket but I'm sure many others weren't as lucky.

I was responding to the original post. I don't know of the rumors or what-not from different boards. I just know that we got that email 3 days ago. And were told that all billing processors are getting shit from Visa and Mastercard because of this spidering software they are using. If GT Bill has other issues I wasn't addressing that. Just what the original post said in it. It said that processing was stopping for "your" (the original posters) site. Which I took to mean just one site that wasn't in compliance with the new regulation.

Anything else I'm unsure of. We don't use GT. But I just wanted to make everyone aware of this new (and stupid) way that the credit card companies are trying to "police" the internet.

And like all software that tries to flag things without any human being on the other end using common sense and judgement, I fear it's gonna fuck with a lot of people.

The compliance department has been extremely busy these last few days. I am sorry your concerns have slipped through the cracks and I will personally make sure you (BigTymer & BluMedia) will recieve a response as soon as possible.

Dominic has already responded to this issue on the first page so there is nothing more I can add to what he has already stated.

Also, I am sincerely asking you to please lay off of C-Luv. She is just doing her job as a sales agent and in no way deserves that kind of abuse.

With tons of other processors available, many with a lot more credibility than GTBill, there is no reason to stick around with a company that (1) isn't in the forefront of addressing concerns (while being more worried about XBiz LA or with complimenting someone's new picture on the first page) or (2) (seemingly) considerably affected by this problem in the first place (as soon as this problem arose, there should have been a crisis team put together to address the issue until its conclusion, part of which would have been clear and concise contact with all affected webmasters, both privately and via public forums). Point fingers, convey nonchalance, defend actions, whatever... I'm glad that we're not processing with your company nor in the middle of this mess.

This is a grown-up world and if she cannot handle what is being thrown at her then she should not be in the job. Being a sales agent is being on the front line and every person that is in sales -- this industry or in selling Toyotas or home electronics -- knows that the salesperson is the first person to get the wrath of an angry customer.

What really sucks is when a salesperson has to deal with angry customers and has no backing from the company. THAT is what is unfair to a salesperson -- taking crap and the people that write the paycheck don't have her back.

Don't try fend off very legitimate complaints by blaming the angry customer for picking on the salesperson. Deal with those complaints head on and give your customers answers.

Chadknowslaw- you did not see the post that were made about me. A member was kicked off GFY for slander and his comments were removed.

I have no problem handling the stress of this business.... But when people (trolls) are calling me fucking retard or a whore, GTBill will step in! That is slander to myself and to GTBill.

As for anyone who is having trouble with their account or has questions regarding GTBill. I asked that you please contact me via email or icq. I would be more then happy to take care of any issues or have our risk department get in contact with you.

I choose to keep my post of this issue to a minimum... This thread is about GTBill, not me personally.

Thanks

Right on Chadknowslaw!

C-Luv don't forget we're in the online adult porn business. People are going to call you names. Calling it slander and reporting it to the mods or to GTBill justs makes you a bigger target. If you handled the name calling on your own I'm sure you'd get a lot less of it. You need thick skin in this business. Some things you just let go and others you address.

So its a new day. Any updates on the situation? Are you guys making any progress? When am I going to get paid? Is my 6 month reserve gone?

My skin is very thick : ) I choose not to answer for this exact reason. The post are not about business nor your account. The more I respond the more the thread becomes about me and not what the thread is about.

Please send me an email so I can get your account details and update you on your account.

I am not here to feed the trolls if you have a problem with your account contact me directly, DON'T CONTACT ME ON A MESSAGE BOARD. I have a sig with all my info it's very easy to find me. I will not be posting in this thread anymore.. AGAIN CONTACT ME DIRECTLY IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE.

Thanks,

Not sure why anyone would choose a company more concerned about a show than responding to their own customers.

Thanks,
You do sales, it is your job to be on boards.
But you know what, i think you we`re looking for a cheap way out of this thread
Very smart thinking. You act personal so you do not have to think about business. Cause your so hurt, you need to have some weeks with someone else his money to chill and relax.
You got your nails done yet??

Where is that boss bitch of yours, on the other side of your bed? You made him coffee yet?

Yeah, 'bump, bump.' For a company that just won an XBiz award, this is lame.

Why would anyone process with GTBILL anymore anyway? Why not just post what you know? We were just getting set up with you guys and now am running the other way because you are not addressing the issue.

There is not much else any of us can add to this topic. Dominic (indy500driver) already summed it up perfectly on the first page.

Quote:
Hey all, just to clarify it is not all our clients.. It is only about 10 to 15%. The reason is we had some aggregation of questionable content being run through our system by one of our merchants and the card brands picked up on it. So they told us to remove the URLs from the portfolio.

The banks now want to review the URLs that they thought would pose a risk. Even though all the URLs they want dont have any issues as far as we can see.

It has been an ordeal because, as you all know, usually a processor would get notice before something like this and would warn the merchants of questionable content and then the merchant would remove it. And usually it is Visa/MC that wants to view the URLs, not hte banks themsselves, but our banks actually want to review some of them.

The reason is, our banks have become quite conservative with all the messes of late (Acai, Colon Cleanse, etc.)

So unfortunately we must comply with their wishes.. Even thnough it will cause a problem for some of our merchants and we deeply regret the issue.

Rest assured we are not going anywhere and people are being paid so no IBill situation or anything like that. The boss is in meetings with the banks as we speak going over all teh URLs that the bank questioned and they will sort it out.

Hope this clarifies it.
Beyond this, it is against our policies to discuss anyone's account details in public so there is no way we would be able to answer account specific questions on GFY.

Scott,
Anyone crying for answers is not a customer or potential customer. If they were they would call you.

Try not to feed the trolls. GFY is really going down hill.

since you are answering public questions, was the 10-15% of the clients that were affected ALL your clients in adult and the remaining 85-90% your alliedwallet clients?
