while the tos change would justify not paying out revshare on the POST DEC 2009 sales nothing legally justifies voiding the previous fiscal responsibility.

affilates who are screwed should get together to sue for the net present value of the income stream stolen.

It's unfortunate because i used to make really good money with these guys but i ran into very similar circumstances where they wanted to stop paying me for my old sales.

Oh well what can you do...

I've seen this happen with another program without even changing the terms, lifetime revenue it was, well, the affiliate promoted them heavily for one year and decided to stop promoting them to give space to another program but was still receiving revshares. The program decided that was not fair and just deleted their account.

I suppose LIFETIME is like 1 week these days

"Lifetime commissions (on new spenders only) will be reinstated right after you regain Active Affiliate status"

I may be misunderstanding the wording but am I correct in assuming that if you dip below 5 qualified/month for a couple of months the revshare on your EXISTING memberships is also dropped, permanently? In other words all links with members are lost even once you're back at 5+, your account is basically like a brand new opened one.

It's one thing to suspend... it's another to effectively delete and create-as-new...

It wasn't too bad, $174.48
The last week though there were no earnings whatsoever, something that had never happened before...that was probably when they disconnected all my previous spenders from my account.

Nope, you're not misunderstanding. My account was reset to 0 qualified members.

Translation: We should never have said "lifetime revshare" but did so anyways because it was a nice shiny statement to attract new affiliates. Rather than live with the error of our ways by living up to the words we used to get those old affiliates, we're choosing to fuck them and focus on newer affiliates, whom we'll be fucking in a couple years' time. BTW, ironically I had tweeted an observation last night before I had seen this thread: Good changes: "Check out these new features!" Bad Changes: "We've recently updated our 100-page TOS, please read/accept."

if sending 5 signups PER MONTH is too much for you, then you should definitely try to find another business...

Camsense if you are proud of your new changes and think there is nothing wrong with it why dont you put the information that there is min sales requirements to be met on the front page real big so everyone can see?
Sadly, I see some loopholes in their wording:

"40% LIFETIME Revenue Share Program" - the only non-loophole line
"Earn as much as 40% of all your viewers spend for life." - "As much as" = could be 0% could be 40%
"Landing a big spender could earn you thousands annually!" - "could" = could or could not...you could earn that much but you may possibly not earn that much, which opens the possibility of earning $0.

I see this wording shit all the time. Particularly the phrase "you can win XYZ" is abused so much in so many places basically trying to fool people into thinking in their minds it says "you WILL win XYZ". It's awful how 1 word can basically make a sentence complete bullshit and hollow.

old sales should still be honored under the original agreement as those were the terms when you sent any old whales that continue to spend, changing the terms to say you have to keep sending a minimum amount of current spenders for old sales to be paid is horseshit as many people stop promoting programs after a while if they find something better, guess the new questions will be "What's your definition of Lifetime?" and then "What will be your definition of Lifetime be in a year or 2?" http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/lifetime glad I never promoted that shit

Doesn't matter how many you send. You should be paid for your work.
I never actively promoted camsense because of their subpar revshare commission.
But if one of the sponsors I'm promoting would pull such a thing I'd drop them in a heart beat.
There are plenty of options out there and no need to support such shaddy practices.

If I were a big enough idiot to put all my webcam eggs in one basket, I'd have been sending 50 joins a month. Now there's your cue: say 50 joins a month is peanuts. It'll make you feel big and important.

If you do not send 5 new qualified spenders per month, each month, you lose your previous earnings. That means if you have kept sending quality traffic to CamSense and have a nice base of whales and it happens that one month you don't send 5 new qualified spenders, you basically lose all of your previous work.

It's just like you say: "Hey CamSense, i have not been a good affiliate this month; i did not send 5 new qualified spenders. Here CamSense, take my previous work and keep it. I'll just start over again from scratch."

So if one sends a 1000 sales a month spread over 1000 sponsors they should be in another business!

I guess a lot of us oldtimers that don't put all our eggs in one basket should quit then.

this is makes no business sense, many affiliates just starting out have to work hard for just 1 sale...and when they get that 1 sale its like hitting the lottery. Then because they did not read every word on a the terms...they get canned by the program for not producing. This is a great way to fail in my opinion, and lose that affiliate for life.

a little affiliate now can turn into a monster producer in the future.

See my Sig. for a Cams sponsor that converts with no hidden strings. + sign up bonus.

Is not even lifetime revshare if this is the case......Is just stupid logic to do this to make webmaster keep pushing them in order to get new sales.....I got a sale from a paysite I hardly push...but when I get the sales...it rebilled for more than a year....if every program does not honor revshare....might as well just offer big PPS links only...
