If you have thought this all along and that is the reason why you haven't paid him why didn't you tell him these things? According to his accounts, which you have no disputed you and him have been in contact a couple times over the last couple months and you did small talk with him, put him off, or ignored him all together. If assuming every thing you said was true I don't understand why you didn't tell him months ago, you wont be paid and this is why, now stop contacting me...
