Right after getting my DUI and being released from the "mobile DUI unit" I went straight to the hospital to get my own BAC test done. I was told the test would be no more than$100. A month later I got a bill in the mail for over $700! For a damn BAC test done at a little booth in the lobby....

Should have come to canada and got it done, the flight there and back and the work would have cost you less.

I got bloodwork, xrays, mri, and over night in a hospital and paid $0.00

As far as them getting all that money they wont cause the hospitals and insurance companies have predetermined "rates" and all that BS...

Many years ago I had like a 2 month lapse in coverage and had to see my Doc and he was more than happy to take CASH at a normal price (not what he bills insurance co)
