Have you ever had it? One time I was at a friends house and she pulled out a can and made spam-burgers. I didn't care for it but her kids were happy as pigs in mud. Do you eat it?

My girlfriend is from Austin Minnesota where they make spam, and we met in hawaii where all the locals eat spam on a regular basis. (they even have it in the mcdonalds big breakfast there)

Even though I don't like it, it haunts me.

thinly sliced.. lightly fried..

no different than eating bologna, salami, sausage..
just a bunch of ground up spiced garbage formed into a tube.. or can..

I make spam salad out of it...
just grind up some spam, add shredded pepperjack cheese, mayonaise, sweet relish, a pinch of salt, some fresh cracked black pepper, a couple dashes of hot sauce and a dab of sour cream. Mix it all up and throw between a couple slices of whole wheat bread...

I recall eating it at some point in my youth...it was either fried or or cooked on a bbq. I remember it tasting like a cross between bacon & ham. I wouldn't eat it today.

we do something similar but put them on bun halves and broil them
