I keep getting these messages from people supposedly in Germany asking me for help with their homework, I even "talked" to one to see what they were trying to sell, but after 20 messages exchanged, still nothing, WTF

I keep getting a couple a day with Russian font as usernames, not that it bothers me but its constantly every day of the week.

I get nothing but russian spam but I get lots of it. One time 36 in a single day, but so far no German spam. I guess your lucky ;)

I have guys adding me with the message 'Denied buddy' with crazy Russian fonts and stuff. I always push deny but quite annoying. Happens every now and then.

How do you protect yourself against ICQ spam with pidgin?
