Have you ever seen a Commie drink a glass of water?
On no account will a Commie ever drink water, and not without good reason.

I drink only distilled water, or rain water, and only pure-grain alcohol

Most of it is, but some smart companies are jumping on the non fluoridated water wagon. There is even non fluoridated toothpaste hitting the shelves.

The tap water here varies between tasting like it came out of a fish pond and stinking of chlorine. Bottled water for me.

i was checking out a few of the bottled waters i have been drinking. one lists .02 ppm, another .07 ppm. it seems there are a number that are floride free but no idea if they sell in canada or not and they probably aren't cheap.

while it's clear the flouride conspiracy is not grounded in any facts, the pollution and waste and danger from plastic water bottles is clear & profound-

-millions of barrels of oil are used in making plastic water bottles
-50 billion plastic water bottles are thrown away each year, the don't biodegrade.
-billions of plastic water bottles are shipped globally adding to the air pollution problem

-Studies have shown that chemicals called phthalates, which are known to disrupt testosterone and other hormones, can leach into bottled water over time. One study found that water that had been stored for 10 weeks in plastic bottles contained phthalates, suggesting that the chemicals could be coming from the plastic cap or liner. Although there are regulatory standards limiting phthalates in tap water, there are no legal limits for phthalates in bottled water -- the bottled water industry waged a successful campaign opposing the FDA proposal to set a legal limit for these chemicals!

There is scientist out there that are saying that there is connection to increased bone cancer, arthritis, Alzheimer.

http://www.wholywater.com/fluoride.html

Let me ask you this, if I handed you a tall drink of cold water and told you that there was 0.7 ppm shit particles in it would you drink it?

thx for the link. fact is though, i can provide links to research stating the opposite, backed with #s/facts.

no, i would not drink that water if offered to me that way. i also would not eat at restaurants if i saw the kitchen. or eat cajun food if i knew the ingredients or.......

etc.

i'm not a fluoridation junky, even though it's been named 1 of the most medically significant achievements of the 20th century.

Yes between fluoride and vaccines it's a wonder that our life span is increasing all the time. I mean with medical science working hand in hand with the goverment to hide their mass poison campaigns, we really should be living much shorter lives than 50 years ago. You fucking morons.

It's not meant to kill us. It's meant to keep the population dumbed down, docile, brain dead sheep. To keep people thinking that toxic waste is some how good for them.

Dentist make a lot of money with it. They wouldn't offer it to you if they didn't. The dental industry is big business.

$3 dollar bottle of fluoride, let's even say 2 bottles per customer. Every one of them. How many customers do you suppose they can see in a day? 6? 10?

versus one crown + root canal = $3500

She also sells mouthwash and toothbrushes, but I doubt that's her cash cow either.

This is all besides the point. I'm not talking about how much fluoride a single dentist office can sell by it's self. Think of the bigger picture. Doesn't matter, the fact is fluoride is not meant to be ingested. It's one of the most toxic ionic molecules there is. Read up on this stuff. NOT GOOD FOR YOU!

All things in moderation. Did you know you can die from drinking too much water? Also milk. Also Drano. Fluoride is way down at the very bottom of my list of shit to be worried about killing me. I polluted my lungs for 27 years with cigarettes. I drown my liver for 26 years in a nice Tequila bath. I've been stabbed, beaten, held at gunpoint, and survived combat. I've been injected with the military's finest unknown chemicals. There's an accident waiting right out on the street in front of my house. Mr. Heart Attack and Mrs. Stroke are waiting just around the corner for everyone.

If fluoride is what's keeping you up at night and driving you to take action & protest something, you've clearly got one glorious worry-free life. I envy you.

i applaud critical thinking, i do. i think more people need to do it more often. but there comes a time when the critical thought process needs to be applied to one's self so as to choose your battles carefully.

fact is, a fluoridation conspiracy is one of those times. because-

1. fluoridation of publci drinking water will continue for a long time
2. there is zero proof that it's a public health concern, let alone a plot to dumb down the masses and have them (us) think toxic waste is good for us, mmmmmmmm.
3. by advocating consuming bottled water instead you are replacing an action with a much much worse one.

Just check into who was the first Government to use fluoride in the drinking water. Also, if enough people demand that it be removed it will be. So 0/3.

not really. again critical thinking leads me to KNOW there will never by an uprising of the people to stop fluoridation.

never.

i am well aware fluoridation started in the u.s. around the turn of the century, that does not discount the fact that you think it's an attempt to dumb down the masses and that your country is in on the conspiracy.

You guys can argue back and forth about this all you want, but the US government says that people are getting too much fluoride. There is a Congressional Research Service report on the subject. It basically says there is not too much in any one source, but when you add them all together people get too much.

Fluoride is found in most water sources naturally, for sure those coming off mountains and in under ground rivers/lakes, ie: most drinking water. You could drink water from a stream that has higher fluoride in it that water from the tap. Most people with soft water from wells have higher counts of fluoride than those with city tap water.

Water treatment plants often remove fluoride... they regulate it, they don't have to add it in unless they have to take something else out first, which is rather common - however they put back less fluoride than what was taken out.

wait, i thought it was a well-planned out conspiracy orchestrated by the u.s. government over 100 years ago to keep us all dumbed down and on the government fluoride cheese.

why would they release such a report in light of the conspiracy.

Alex Jones might say it's because it's an internal congressional report that was not public until Wikileaks got a'hold of it

Quotes from the report:

Quote:
Because the use of fluoridated dental products and the consumption of food and beverages made with fluoridated water have increased since the PHS recommended optimal levels for fluoridation, many people now may be exposed to more fluoride than had been anticipated. Consequently, questions have emerged as to whether current water fluoridation practices and levels offer the most appropriate ways to provide the expected beneficial effects of fluoride while avoiding adverse effects (most commonly, tooth mottling or pitting — dental fluorosis) that may result from ingestion of too much fluoride when teeth are developing. Also, scientific uncertainty regarding the health effects of exposure to higher levels of fluoride add controversy to decisions regarding water fluoridation.
Quote:
As noted by the National Research Council (NRC) of the National Academy of Sciences in 1997,

Quote:
In addition to fluoride in drinking water, people also can ingest fluoride in toothpaste, mouth rinse, and dietary fluoride supplements or in beverages and foods prepared with fluoridated water. As a result, many Americans might ingest more “incidental” fluoride than was anticipated by the PHS [Public Health Service] and by EPA in recommending standards for drinking water. 16 18
Quote:
According to a 2002 study, fluorosis prevalence among schoolchildren in the 1980s ranged from 18% to 26%, depending on the analytical index used.
Nothing in the report about it dumbing us down, but it does talk about how it can fuck up our teeth and bones and that most in the medical community do not think there is a link to cancer, but more studies need to be done.

This is what I found in regards to natural fluoride.

Fluoride, as such, is never added to the water. Only silicofluorides (a hazardous waste containing many toxic pollutants) are used to artificially fluoridate water, and studies have proven that they do not effectively prevent tooth decay, they only delay it. (See opposition's response to Question 4). Silicofluorides never occur naturally in nature, and they are 85 times more toxic than natural occurring calcium fluoride. Therefore, the effect on the entire body will be different.

This was proven in a study called, "Comparative Toxicity of Fluorine Compounds." After this study was completed, this statement was made: " ... this meant a daily intake of approximately 40 mg/kg of fluorine from sodium fluoride as compared with 3400 mg/kg from calcium fluoride. Therefore, from the standpoint of lethal concentrations and amount of fluorine necessary to cause growth inhibition, wide differences in toxicity of some of the compounds of fluoride were noted." (See 3-1: Industrial and Engineering Chemistry. July 1934, page 797). In other words, industrial waste (sodium fluoride) is 85 times more toxic than natural calcium fluoride. Both of them contain fluoride, but they are totally different compounds. (Also see 3-2).

Calcium is a well-known antidote for fluoride poisoning. When an antidote accompanies a poison, it makes the poison far less toxic to the body. Soft waters to which fluoride is artificially added lack this calcium which is present in most waters that contain natural fluoride.
