Twitter is not about your personal life. No one I follow posts shit about "I am now buying shoes". Why do you think anyone would be interested in that?

Take http://twitter.com/meaderic as an example of what *I* think is a cool twitter poster. He is a magician who posts links to cool shit.

It's really not about posting details of the minutiae of your life.

I wrote a post about porn marketing on twitter a while ago. Might be interesting for you.

The other important point is you need an app. Going to twitter.com is something I NEVER EVER do. Tweetie on the mac. Don't know what is best for PC. Tweetdeck gets love.
