Concerta - anyone here on it?
I've been ADD since forever, but I've always been able to get by. I quit smoking a few yrs ago and ever since then its been really downhill. Not sure if there was any correlation between smoking and being able to be somewhat productive, but since I quit smoking I can't seem to get anything done.
Well, I went to the Dr and they put me on 18mg of Concerta. I took it today for the first time.It didn't really do much but give me a runny nose and make me a little sleepy. Anyone else here taking it? Let me know how it worked out for you. |

My son was on that when he was about 13 years old. (he's 17 now)
It seemed effective for a little while and then after a while didn't seem to do much. He didn't like taking it, said it made him feel terrible. I took some once to see what he was going through and I swear it was like a reverse high. I pretty much just felt like crap. That's the only way I can really describe it. |
