The Las Vegas Sun has acquired audio of Nevada Republican Senate candidate Sharron Angle speaking about her ability to raise money by appearing on Fox News shows like The O'Reilly Factor and Hannity.

According to The Sun, the audio is of Angle at a house party earlier this month. Here's the transcript:

Guest: Sharron, how are you doing as far as the fundraising?
Sharron Angle: It's going really well. If you're interested in just the Internet part of that -- and of course I've been criticized for saying that I like to be friends with the [press] -- but here's the deal: when I get a friendly press outlet -- not so much the guy that's interviewing me -- it's their audience that I'm trying to reach. So, if I can get on Rush Limbaugh, and I can say, "Harry Reid needs $25 million. I need a million people to send twenty five dollars to SharronAngle.com." The day I was able to say that [even], he made $236,000. That's why it's so important. Somebody...I'm going on Bill O'Reilly the 16th. They say, "Bill O'Reilly, you better watch out for that guy, he's not necessarily a friendly"...Doesn't matter, his audience is friendly, and if I can get an opportunity to say that at least once on his show -- when I said it on Sean Hannity's television show we made $40,000 before we even got out of the studio in New York. It was just [great]. So that's what I'm really reaching out to is that audience that's had it with Harry, and you can watch that happen when I go on those shows. Go on my website, it starts coming in. We have an automatic...when you put your name in there and it doesn't tell how much you gave, but it tells your name and where you're from. And so you can just watch it; it just rolls like this. In fact, with Rush Limbaugh we put it all down. We couldn't take the ticker going fast enough. This is not the first time Angle has mentioned the relative ease with which she can raise money via traditionally conservative outlets. She mentioned a similar sentiment to Christian Broadcasting News Network's David Brody in July when he asked her about the perception that she was avoiding traditional news outlets:

Well, in that audience will they let me say I need $25 from a million people go to Sharron Angle.com send money? Will they let me say that? Will I get a bump on my website and you can watch whenever I go on to a show like that we get an immediate bump. You can see the little spinners. People say 'Oh, I heard that. I am going and I'm going to help Sharron out because they realize this is a national effort and that I need people from all around the nation. They may not be able to vote for me but they can certainly help."
In August, Angle said in an interview with Fox News that she wanted the press "to ask the questions we want to answer, so that they report the news the way we want it reported."

Angle is in a competitive Senate race with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

You're absolutely right. There's lots of things in this world that aren't the way they are supposed to be. But it feels good to type it out every once in a while.

George Washington refused to run for a second term. Thomas Jefferson envisioned that EVERYBODY would serve one term. It was supposed to be our duty as citizens to be a Senator or Representative at one point in our life.

Not people moving to Washington in their late 30's and 50 years later they are still "representing" the state that they USED to live in.

A standing army and the right to bear arms are two different things. The right to bear arms was put in place to protect the citizens from an over encroaching government so something like Nazi Germany or Solvent Union would never happen in the US.

Our founding fathers new that politicians and rulers would always want to chip away at liberty and there could/would come a time where the citizens must stand up against the government. We are a far far far way away from that.

An unarmed person is a subject an armed person is a citizen.

It's funny to see the backlash Reid gets here in Nevada....we had a huge population boom for the last decade and a half...all these starry eyed dipshits moving here thinking they were going to make it rich...they took up space filling our schools to bursting levels, making the traffic worse, causing a false sense of financial security in the business districts and once there was a blip...BOOM, they're trapped here.

A lot of our unemployed are construction workers who came here to leech jobs with the intention of leaving after a year or two. This caused a lot of local workers to lose out on those jobs and then when the economy started going down, it caused a ripple effect....the touring construction workers left, causing the businesses they used to spend money with to go out of business and causing shit to roll downhill.

I won't even get into the idiots who wanted to build ultra expensive high rise condos and a ridiculous rate...now a lot of those places are half empty, running on a skeleton crew of employees. I guess it was hard for these developers to envision a $14 per hour (if that) hotel/casino worker to be able to afford a $500K condo.

What does this have to do with Reid vs. Angle? As bad as it all is here in Nevada under Reid, it would be worse under Angle. I don't believe either can fix this problem overnight....Las Vegas was subject to a market correction and it's going to be a bumpy ride for several more years. On the bright side, housing prices will stay normal for a couple more years and maybe with more people leaving the state, we won't have the huge environmental issues we're dealing with like water shortages and the erosion of Lake Mead.

It's funny to see the backlash Reid gets here in Nevada....we had a huge population boom for the last decade and a half...all these starry eyed dipshits moving here thinking they were going to make it rich...they took up space filling our schools to bursting levels, making the traffic worse, causing a false sense of financial security in the business districts and once there was a blip...BOOM, they're trapped here. A lot of our unemployed are construction workers who came here to leech jobs with the intention of leaving after a year or two. This caused a lot of local workers to lose out on those jobs and then when the economy started going down, it caused a ripple effect....the touring construction workers left, causing the businesses they used to spend money with to go out of business and causing shit to roll downhill. I won't even get into the idiots who wanted to build ultra expensive high rise condos and a ridiculous rate...now a lot of those places are half empty, running on a skeleton crew of employees. I guess it was hard for these developers to envision a $14 per hour (if that) hotel/casino worker to be able to afford a $500K condo. What does this have to do with Reid vs. Angle? As bad as it all is here in Nevada under Reid, it would be worse under Angle. I don't believe either can fix this problem overnight....Las Vegas was subject to a market correction and it's going to be a bumpy ride for several more years. On the bright side, housing prices will stay normal for a couple more years and maybe with more people leaving the state, we won't have the huge environmental issues we're dealing with like water shortages and the erosion of Lake Mead. __________________ Support my new movie “The Second Coming”
