ATTN AFFILIATES! Help test & build NATS 4.1! 5 all expense paid trips inside!

Hi everyone!
We are the nearing completion of the all new NATS 4.1 affiliate interface. Our aim with the 4.1 interface is an expansion of functionality with a return to simplicity. We are making tremendous progress in building a brand new affiliate interface which makes it easier than ever to collect the data you need.

Detailed data and endless options to improve your revenue are fantastic tools, but only if you are able to understand and use them. With NATS 4.1, TMM is raising the bar to new heights. It's a fast, clean, easy to use interface that allows you direct access to what you want, how you want it.

As we near the end of development of this new system we need the help of affiliates to put the finishing touches on it. We would like to get your feedback on the interface before it is complete and released to NATS clients. Affiliates have always been a top priority to TMM and your feedback is vital to our continued success.

We are excited to announce that we will be flying 5 affiliates to our headquarters in NJ, all expenses paid. The affiliates selected will take part in a hands on testing of the new NATS 4.1 affiliate interface on October 14th and 15th, 2010. You will meet and work directly with our development team to ensure that NATS 4.1 provides the best possible interface for affiliates.

The all expenses paid trip includes round trip airfare and transportation to TMM headquarters, hotel accommodations for the nights of October 13th, 14th, and 15th, all meals, and the opportunity to help craft the future of the adult industry.

Every idea counts and we hope that we can get some useful feedback from the affiliates as they are the ones utilizing the software on a daily basis.

If you are an interested affiliate, please complete the TMM affiliate survey at https://www.toomuchmedia.com/survey/. Surveys must be completed prior to midnight EST, October 4th. On Ocotber 5th, five applicants for the all expenses paid trip will be chosen from the completed surveys. If you are a local affiliate or are interested in attending regardless of being chosen for the paid trip, please contact [email protected] or 732-385-1536 xt1123 and we can assist with any arrangements needed. If you are an operator of a NATS program, we will be having a separate event in the future which we will detail soon. The Oct 14th & 15th event is limited to affiliates.

Our offices are located only 45 minutes from down town Manhattan. If you would like to extend your trip beyond the 15th we are more than happy to book your return flight at your convenience. Hotel and other expenses beyond 15th will be the responsibility of the affiliate.

good luck John !

One helpful suggestion. Turn all email sales notification to OFF by default. It's hard at times to turn them off and in some programs that option simply does not work.

Make it easier to recover passwords.

Make it easier to tag campaigns, this should be in the same spot i'm trying to grab a link code.

Make it easier to sort by date, by site, by campaign.

there i just saved you a ton of money

You guys should put something in your license, leased or paid, that would terminate the license should the company stop paying their webmasters. Too many programs using your excellent product to screw people.

This is a fantastic idea and a very positive step forward from the last release.

Great to see a company that learns from their mistakes - good luck and look forward to seeing the new build of NATS!

Nice gesture by TMM to affiliates. No question there.

+1

Maybe a "NATS Trusted Sponsor" program as well. Each participating program must put at least one month's worth of affiliate payouts (amount adjusted quarterly) in a special account primarily controlled by TMM. In the event of shenanigans (such as not making payments) affiliates may request payout from that account. The procedure and decisions would be made by TMM and ideally posted in advance. Maybe throw in a code of ethics as well which all participating programs must legally adhere to. Yeah I know I'm probably dreaming but I figured I'd bring it anyway.

Can I give some feedback about the survey? It ended a bit abruptly, I didn't even get a chance to shamelessly self promote myself to win the golden chocolate bar!

It's not just limited to US affiliates. Reason being is that if we receive a survey submission with great feedback from an affiliate thats over seas and we find may be beneficial to 4.1 then we would gladly fly them out here.

If you miss 3.0 then I think you'll really like 4.1

Also, if you'd like to make sure your input has a direct effect on it, take a few minutes and complete the survey. Even if you can't make it out for the event, your answers on the survey will help fine tune the new affiliate experience.

Great idea! I am sure you will no doubt have a huge response!

Any chance you'll be running any more no setup promos in the near future like you did last year? I have a client that is very interested in your software and I'm most sure he would love a deal on your setup fees. :P

Does 4.1 come with a laundry list full of bug fixes? Is 4.1 actually a release ready version? 4.0 certainly was not, and it is appalling that you people forced new clients of yours into beta testing this crap you call 4.0; not only that but making us pay for it as well.

I dare say you guys should probably do away with zend encoding every single file and let some people who actually know how to code get their hands dirty instead of having to rely on your "I've escalated this ticket to a higher level of support" airhead staff members.

My personal favorite bug is the one that grants access to people who failed the billing process...

End user participation in the beta testing process has long been a tradition. Clearly you haven't been a part of any medium to large scale software project or you would have known that.

I can't tell you how many online games and expansion packs I've been a part of the beta testing processing.

It is without a doubt the best way to find bugs and unexpected issues before the product goes live and I'm happy to see NATs going all out on their beta test. It will only make it a better, strong product for the rest of us.

Correct I was referring to Vlad

I guess I should have expected this kind of response. And what happens when I tell you who I am? You shut off our nats account because I publicly outed you guys for forcing people to beta test your software and pay for it while doing so?

I think not friend.. but I will say our ticket list is a mile long, and even now issues that were supposed to have been resolved a year ago are resurfacing. And what do we get from support? Pure arrogance and complete lack of professionalism.

Did you have to pay the high setup fee and monthly fees while you were beta testing? You absolutely have not.

Open/public beta and forcing someone to beta test software on a live system are not one in the same; especially when we were never informed that we were actually beta testing, and the software wasn't actually release ready/stable...
