See, that's the part that gets me so riled up. Not only have we been attacked on all sides, watched people losing their jobs, companies cutting back on everything, watching my affiliate work deteriorate because I can't sell memberships to sites that are available for free...but then we have to catch grief from people who SHOULD be on our side in this fight.

It just makes me shake my head at the thought process from some of you.

yes that's the way to go, cater to the LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR....NOT!

The only idea here is to DESTROY piracy, or at the very least HOBBLE it to the point where makes no significant dent in sales from legitimate companies, leading to the final point where it is seen as a PARIAH in all societies.

Right now millions of people simply do it, they don't think about it, they just do it as part of their everyday lives. These lawsuits aimed at users will make them think about what they are doing

Why do the same guys come in, thread after thread, to slam on those trying to protect their content?

Everyone should just mind their own business, assuming any of you actually have one. I'm sure that 95% of those opposing such action have no dog in the fight to begin with.

Here is the difference between guys like you and the people who are taking action... they act. They stopped crying about it and adapted. i don't know what you do exactly in this biz, but if you were aware of the really creative companies/studios getting ripped off by these pirate assholes then you wouldn't post a comment like this.

Brother, I lost it a LONG time ago.

It is taking action in an industry where the majority is sitting on its ass. Call it want you want, but those who are doing it are... doing it. If it works, EVERYONE will follow.

Porn is a business of followers. Always has been. And the masses will follow again as soon as word officially gets out that this is profitable. If you think for a second that businesses who bang cards, deceive consumers, don't pay webmasters, put minors or stolen content on their sites, won't jump all over this the moment they know they can make a single dollar, you are mistaken. The bad part is, this will eventually get abused by those very people.
