How do I take my website to the next level?

I've had my website, faptard.com for a couple of years now. On any given day I'll get between 1500 and 3500 visitors, depending on how much time I spend marketing it. I'm pretty happy with my traffic, but I feel like I've hit a wall when it comes to revenue. I'm using Juicy Ads, Plugrush and Imgdino and I can't seem to make more than about $8 or $9 combined on a very good day. I'll have to spend hours posting to forums and dumps just to hit that mark and I feel like my time is worth more than that.

So, I humbly come to the netizens of GFY with the hope that you can give me some pointers on how to optimize my site and maximize my profit.

All criticism is welcome, as long as it is constructive.

Thx in advance, guys.

Try setting up a chaturbate pop works well for me on my blogs
sometimes i find it works better than the links to sponsors

Well since you aren't selling a product, you need pretty huge volumes of traffic to make any real money with programs like you describe.

I'd also advise you use real sponsor content and try to sell memberships to their sites, since it looks like you are using user submitted and re-posted (aka illegal) content and you'll make more money + save yourself a bunch of potential problems down the road.

Are people submitting content or are you just grabbing pictures, adding your watermark and them uploading them to those image storage sites?

Thanx for the advice so far, guys.

I've set up the Chaturbate pop-up. Hopefully, I'll see some return but I've had very little luck with affiliate programs in the past.

To be quite honest, yes I am just reposting with my watermark. My reasoning for that is not to claim ownership of the pics, it's to help improve traffic when I post them on forums and dumps, etc.

I just kind of assumed that since the images are strewn across the web for anyone to view and download, that ownership was ambiguous.

Btw Markul, do you have any suggestions for sponsored content that actually converts?

I would stop that immediately, for multiple reasons, for example:

- Do you know if the girl is/was over 18 when the picture was taken?
- Was the picture uploaded with her consent?
- You don't own the rights AND you are watermarking it so you are leaving a BIG FAT trail that someone could pickup and point back to you.

Point is, you will get in trouble if you continue down this road. Not only can you host close your site, but you could potentially end up in jail or have some angry dad/boyfrend come knocking on your door.

What sponsors convert and what content convert? That's the million dollar question, it depends entirely on your traffic. I'd go for some ex-gf content. Do a search on GFY and you'll see plenty of them.

Also before you promote a sponsor, do your homework, search their name here or other places to make sure they are legit and don't run with your money. I've stopped doing 'the sponsors convert' guides, cause they don't for everyone, but you can read something in this guide for adult webmasters and there are a few there.

I don't do much in the ex-gf niche, but I know that crakcash has a lot of content in that niche.

Wow, not exactly the advice that I was hoping for but definitely some helpful stuff. I suppose I've got a huge redesign on my hands in the very near future, but I sincerely appreciate the info, Markul.

I have just one last question (hopefully) if you don't mind.

After I choose a sponsor or sponsors, approximately what percentage of the site should be dedicated to their content. Or should the whole site be filled with it?

Also, if you could point me toward either one of your sites or a couple of sites that you feel have properly implemented this strategy it would be incredibly helpful.

I know it sucks, but you were going down a path you don't want to be on if someone decides to take an actual look at wtf was going on

Most sponsors don't mind that you promote more than one sponsor on your site. If you ever meet any that are so anal they only want their content on your site and not anyone elses, I'd drop them like a stone. I think kink.com is one that works like that. But as I said, do a simple search here on the sponsor name.

Just remember that you need to actually promote (ie try and sell) the product that you are putting on the site. So if you do a image galleries, you might want to leave the most hardcore bits out so people need to go to sign-up via your ref link to get to that.

One or two is mentioned in the article I linked in the post above, but there are so many ways to create sites. If I was just getting started, I'd learn the ropes with blogs - and slowly make a plan for my money site - turning it into a blog might not be the best match for your content, maybe a tubesite works better, maybe a community site could bring in money.

You can dabble with both blogs and tubes for free if you use the system in my signature.

Thanks again for all your help, Markul. Just signed up with a couple of your suggested sponsors. Gonna start the redesign as soon as I get approved!

Finally got around to posting some new content and plenty of adverts. Not a lot of content yet, but I feel better about the site now. Hopefully I'll see some bigger returns now.

For your mobile traffic you should check out the possibilty of using a white label. I see you selling it right now.. Why selling traffic if you could convert it by yourself? I am sure you will make more revenue this way!

Any site that accepts user submitted content (even forums) are liable, but are also protected by the law. The person submitting the copyrighted work is the one that is breaking copyright law, or in the case of minors (child porn), the same is true. However that does not mean you can't be held liable if you do not take down suspected piracy works, or if a provider submits a DMCA you should probably listen to them.
