Looking For Some Keyword Help/Guidance - GoFuckYourself.com

I am working on a general hardcore type of blog and I am having a hell of a time coming up with a keyword or keyword phrase to target.

It has been suggested that I utilize something like adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal, so I started with that and started with "slut" as my first shot at a keyword. From that list, I think I have it narrowed down and am thinking I should use 'dirty sluts', 'horny sluts' and/or 'sexy sluts'. I picked these three because the search #'s for these terms is not real high/competitive.

Am I on the right track?

If I am not, I would really appreciate any suggestions and/or guidance as this stuff is really driving me crazy.

I am desperate to learn and understand this part of the business.

The first place to start is defining your target audience. I know it seems like an obvious thing, but if you have a niche appeal then this isn't such a dumb question. Picture the demographics in your mind of the average visitor such as: Gender, Age, Education, and etc. Do you honestly believe that your content is going to satisfy that audience? Yes, now think about what bob, aged 27, a plumber in Detroit really want to see, and what search terms would he type into Google (insert other bs engines here).

The only other thing I would recommend is taking a look at some similar sites or blogs and see what they have for keywords, descriptions, and other on-site info. Keep track of what you do and measure your traffic to see what works.

While I do agree with this, you also have to consider the content as well. Not just WHO you are delivering to, but WHAT you are delivering and to whom.
