Also, I agree that you never want to shit on newbs just because they are newbs as I've seen a number of them grow into whales over the years... :pimp |

I'm a newb

It is true that noobs bring a lot of good ideas to the table, but not because they have more talent.
1. All noobs are just taking shots in the dark at first. Most fail badly, but a few luck into something new that works well. 2. Experienced webmasters with a stable income do not want to change things and risk making less money. It takes a couple years before a really good sponsor becomes saturated. Promo methods first talked about on the boards saw their peak ($ per webmaster doing it) at least a year or two prior. It really just comes down to a willingness to try new things. |
This old timer loves newbies...
especially 18yo girls wanting to get a start in this biz :winkwink: Every webmaster was a newbie once, we love them all and have paid on time since '99 Newbies make this bonus possible every year :thumbsup http://howigotrich.com/images/million_dollars.jpg Send us more traffic, it's converting great! www.HowIgotrich.com |
I think director made a great post. It's like any business in the sense that some people are inherently good and fine to work with, while others... not so much. It's wrong to generalize whether it's to praise or punish. So keep your nose to the grindstone and your grains of salt handy and best of luck to you!
:pimp |
I always will consider myself a newbie...and I think a lot of the people who have been around and made success in this business do too. The minute you think you know it all or are invincible...blam, you are smoked. I for one will always be learning, asking "stupid questions", and always help the "up-and-coming". They are the life-blood of the American dream.
But a word of warning...don't let your motivation and determination turn into arrogance, they take away from your character and you risk becoming the very thing you hate (minus the success). :thumbsup |
Tell Me
I wish you would tell me your secret Sean I have been doing this shit for a year and im not even close:(

While I admire your enthusiasm you should tone down the arrogance. It's much more impressive for a humble "newb" to come out of nowhere and become a huge success :2 cents:
|
I find reading a lot of stuff here, taking lots of notes and keeping my trap shut in public about what I'm doing and developing, to be a much better "n00b approach" to this industry... to each his own I guess. :winkwink:

But if he is sending those 20k clicks a day to sponsors as he said, then it's not too bad. |
Old timers didnt get where they are by being dumb. we all evolve and have many new ideas that are implemented.
if your a newb and work hard anyone can make money. its all about making it happen |
2 groups.
one has 10 noobs, the other 10 old timers. you can put your money with one of them. which one |

All it does is spit out "Error wrong promotion code" messages. You might want to fix that before you move on to anything "bigger- better" and "faster-stronger" :2 cents: |
