what do you mean "scaling the burning process from 400 calories a day the first month to 500 calories a day the second month and eventually 600 calories a day the third month." ?? also, i was looking at your food items in your diet, why the corn products? just curious. :thumbsup |
That diet takes some major willpower imo. Congrats.

gotcha, your skin should certainly tighten up in no time then, quick weightloss will do that.

I would say Insanity is great for overall conditioning. If you're just looking for that, you don't need any weights and it's just about putting the time in. You just need to be humble because they're tough. Like really, really tough. I haven't finished a workout without big breaks. What it lacks is the focus on strength training. P90X at least gives you a terrific overall workout. You have variety, instruction, and as long as you have the equipment, you can build a solid body without paying huge amounts for a trainer. I think that's the big difference. The average person would need a trainer in order to put a workout that's that comprehensive together. For me, combining the two are where it's at. I've seen great progress so far. As a case in point, I did chest, shoulders and tris this morning. This workout started in week five and I was able to do a total of 52 pushups by then. Today I was able to do 91. Once the 90 days are over, though, I'm putting yoga back in the mix. I hate it. It's the hardest workout IMO. For that reason alone, I need to do more of it. |
the yoga is a killer, + it's 90 minutes--- eeeeeeeowww!

but i do see how the yoga adds a lot to the exercise program, hell, i am soaked with sweat after the asana/vinyasa and have to break for a bit prior to starting the balance section. |
1. It looks like your boobs are getting bigger.
2. It looks like you are sucking in your gut in those after pics. |

I was thinking of trying the Survivor diet. 39 days on 1 cup of rice and 1 piece of fruit per day, hehe. What could possibly go wrong?

Damn that is impressive bro. Keep at it and keep posting your updates!

Keep taking progress pics and write in detail about your strategies in a journal/blog format.
When you're done, you can write an ebook, promote it with your journal entries, and make a million bucks! |
Wow, great results so far! Congrats on getting your health back!
|
Have Juicy give you a spray tan and an all over body waxing and you'll look even cutter.

Big UPS Carlos, damn I'm now 1.5 years here in Czech Rep and also gained a lot of weight probably from the good beers, food here, too many hrs behind the computer and no exercises. Anyway you gave me some inspiration :) I have here a full gym gear and will start one of these days.
|
Congrats Carlos!
I've slacked off on my diet over the last 90 days focusing on work. I have still been working out, but I let my diet get the best of me. Your progress has motivated me more. Stay tuned for my 90 days update now! Congrats! |
nice job! Very impressive 2 month work!
surprised to see so much corn on your diet when it is supposed to be uber fattening. i cut out processed flowers but not wheat, steer off starchy things like carrots and potatoes and do well :) xoxo Leslie |
holy shit that's impressive. props.
|
Good work!
Btw, how in the world do one get rid of that "last skin/fat" around the belly area? I mean, that is a drag to get rid of! Been working out myself a lot and that is the part that seems the toughest and also the part that comes back first if I get lazy. Any good suggestions from someone that has actually managed to get rid of that part? |

based on my calcs, that leaves only 5-7 pounds of fat left to hit my goal of ~8% bf. i've had to cut fats down to ~10%, added an extra cardio routine to my training 3x a week. i added this 2 weeks ago and have started losing bf again, about 1/2% (3/4 pound) without any loss in LBM. so my carb-protein-fat ratio is now 45-45-10 split b/w 3 balanced meals eaten prior to 6 pm + 3 snacks (protein shakes) s |
i'd fuck with you
