paxum is terrible

I know epassporte was flawed and long gone,

but paxum:

$45 USD yearly for a card?

a million steps to authorize your account?

I send them photos of my passport, a government ID card and a bank statement (which takes them 5 days to approve) , and then to send me my money they still want more? A photo of me with my passport? seriously wtf? how about a photo of my asshole, you want that too? motherfuckers.

I never had to deal with this kind of crap with epassporte!

eroticfem 02-20-2013 10:33 AM

Same shit with neteller they ask for just about anything, and still i am waiting for them to open my freaking account. (Been waiting 1 month now!)

Hi Jaeger,

The Paxum Mastercard is printed and shipped for free. We charge an annual fee of $44.95 USD and this is deducted from your Paxum Checking account without needing to first have funds available.

We require picture ID and proof of address for every single client to become verified.

The only reason we ask for a photo of a client holding their picture ID is when the client is choosing to go through EFT/ACH verification. EFT/ACH is an optional service and the photo is requested for account security and anti-fraud measures.

We do have other options for withdrawal available that do not require any additional verification documentation; Wire and Check and the Paxum Mastercard.

We also provide the option for withdrawal to an external Credit Card, this requires additional verification (completion of a form and photos of the front and back of the card).

It should be a straightforward process, but if you require any additional assistance, please feel free to email me - [email protected] - and I'll be happy to help.

:)

I'm sorry you feel that way. I'd be interested to find out more. Can you please email me - [email protected] - with your account email so I can look into how your account has been handled?
Thanks,
Ruth :)

bbobby86 02-20-2013 11:22 AM

paxum is really hard... totally too much sign, authorize, take pic, upload this, upload that... OMG... and $45 for what... for my wasted time...

femdomdestiny 02-20-2013 11:26 AM

Password changes iritate me. I don't even know what my pasword is and I can't access paxum on mobile

First of all i do appreciate the fact you have replied here, thank you.

HOWEVER:

From memory, epassporte only charged a yearly fee of about 25 USD for a card that is half what you are charging. And I get that you need ID proof, but I have already given you that and you have already approved that.

But that is not the important point,

The thing is Ruth, I ALREADY SENT YOU A COPY OF MY BANK STATEMENT. AND A COPY OF MY PASSPORT AND ALSO MY GOVERNMENT ID. btw i am also in Australia, not some shitty african country or such.

Can you explain why you need a photo of me with my passport and my bank details when you already have my a photo of my passporte and also a photo of my bank statement? (to withdraw to my bank account) Honestly i just think it is un-necessary and this will take me another day to organize and you guys will take another fucking 3 -5 days to see it and approve it, after i already have waited so long.

Why?

Paxum is NOT PBBC approved because of Ruth's involvement in the company. :2 cents:

Why are you then still insisting on comparing them to Epassporte? Last time I looked Epassporte ripped off everyone and went out of business.

The fact that Paxum does make people jump through those hoops means they are being extra cautious and frankly if that is what they have to do to establish a high professional standard of accountability then I am all for it. If you don't want to deal with it then don't use it. Simple as that. :2 cents:

lonerunner 02-20-2013 12:16 PM

Idk it was very easy for me, only hard thing was waiting period of about 1 week to get verified and that i had to wait about 3 weeks for check to come to my address. They do requested me some id and bill and picture of me so they can verify my account and was not problem at all. But i didn't requested card, nor bank transfer.

Why?

The documentation you previously submitted was for account verification purposes.

Your bank statement was provided for proof of address.
Your passport and government ID were provided for picture ID.

We request picture ID and proof of address from every single client, no matter where they live.

In order to verify your bank account for EFT payments, we require additional authorization to confirm that we have your permission to use EFT services in relation to your bank account. Your picture ID and proof of address documents are insufficient for this purpose.

We request a photo of you holding your picture ID since we are unable to view you with your documentation in person. If you were able to come into our offices to show us, then we would be happy to accept it that way. Since you are not able to do so, and since you are providing us permission to send transactions directly to your bank account, we require this additional authorization.

Once you've submitted your picture (should you choose to do so), feel free to contact me with your account email and I'd be happy to follow-up on it with you.

Thanks,
Ruth :)

but i never got ripped off by epassporte personally, they paid me everything i was owed, i personally do not have a single bad thing to say about epassporte. I realise that is my experience and may differ from others, but that is the case for me.

I signed up to them (paxum) when it was either them or payonneer or whatever the fuck the other one is called, not a lot of choice there... they seemed the better....

But your point is silly, it is like saying, dont like banks, dont use em. You kind of have to, and i have every right to complain if i think im getting treated badly and that is merely what i am doing.

ok Ruth, i do think your measures are un-necessary given what i have already sent you, Im not sure why you need such things to send money to a verified account.... as stated epassporte did not need such measures.

however despite that, can you at least guarantee me a quick review/turnaround time? For instance, not 5 days, as was the case last time i submitted documents to your company? More like 1-2 days would be appreciated....

pornguy 02-20-2013 12:44 PM

Yep. You never had to go through this with Epass and, uhh where are they again?

Once you submit your signed and completed EFT form (sign/date in blue ink), and the picture of you holding your Picture ID then you can expect a natural turnaround time of 1-2 days to find out if your application has been accepted.

After your documentation has been accepted, a transaction is then requested from your bank account in USD. This typically takes 3-4 business days to show on your bank statement. Once it displays, you must input the transaction amount (in USD) into your Paxum account (EFT section) to confirm and verify the account.

Once confirmed and verified, you can use that bank account for EFT withdrawals from your Paxum account without the need to submit any further documentation.

As I said, after you have submitted your documents, please feel free to contact me with your account email and I'll follow-up with you.

Thanks,
Ruth :)

yeah they are dead whatever not the fucking point, they are dead cause fucking malik was a douche, not because of their policies, they ran a tight ship when they were around and they worked. yes the head was a dick. but thats not the point.... all im asking for is good customer service ffs...

v4 media 02-20-2013 12:49 PM

I read the bad stuff about getting authorizing your account.

I know it happens to some but I signed up with them 2 weeks ago and everything was authorized with just an id and utility bill (Spanish) within 24 hours.. So for me the service so far is good. Maybe I was just lucky.

the $45 for the card.. well my bank charges me $30 a year for just a debit card, so $45 for a mastercard seems fair.

Again Ruth thank-you for you response i do appreciate it. Just a comment, it has to be in 'blue ink'. Really? my lord could your company get any more anal?

Also is there a reason for you charging nearly double what epassporte did yearly for the card?

I am not saying that. You have other options and Paxum is not a bank per se so that is just not a valid comparison on your part. Besides, the most ridiculous part is all those hoops to jump through are designed to protect YOU as much as it is to protect them. You should be thankful but instead you are complaining because a professional operation that handles financial transactions requires a measure of due diligence before they accept clients.

Or am I missing something here?

However, in the end... You are right. You are completely welcome to complain just like I am free to tell you that it is silly imo to come to gfy and complain about this and you need to grow the fuck up and act like a business person instead of an unprofessional malcontent.

I was under the impression that the reason you posted this thread, and the basis of your complaint was

1) The Paxum Mastercard annual fee, and

2) Our requirement for a picture of you holding your picture ID next to your face (for EFT verification, an additional service).

You haven't said anything about poor customer service in this thread, in fact, you have thanked me multiple times for my responses to your questions. Presumably you consider that to be good customer service...

To recap, in relation to your specified complaints:

The Paxum Mastercard annual fee is $44.95. The Paxum Mastercard is also OPTIONAL.

The picture requirement is only necessary if you select to receive payments via EFT. This requirement is for account security and anti-fraud purposes. Once again, EFT is an OPTIONAL additional service, so no-one is required to do this unless they wish to use that feature.

Thanks

good customer service does not involve me getting fucked over sending your company multiple copies of basically the same thing i already sent you and then waiting for god knows how long, now does it? what i was saying is i appreciate you posting here, that is all, but now i do not, because you just proved that its all about 'face' for you by bullshitting in this post saying how awesome you are and presuming things which are very much not true.

I UNDERSTAND THE CARD IS OPTIONAL, I AM NOT A MORON,BUT WHY IS IT SO EXPENSIVE?

all these things like eft and card etc all optional yes of course, breathing air is optional isnt it afterall..? except not really because how am i supposed to access my money without using one of them? not optional at all in other words unless i want paxum just to keep my money forever.

You are not without options to withdraw your funds from your Paxum account.

As stated in an earlier response; Wire and Check withdrawals do not require any additional verification.

Epassporte burnt a lot of people. Rumour is people died.

You, don't, want to do business with people who adapt from those past errors and mistakes?

I feel very comfortable with their verification process.

i see nothing wrong with being overly cautious against fraud to protect the customer's account and the company as well. i would be thankful that i was being protected to that extent with fraud being as high as it is these days. :2 cents:
