Seems Romney might not yet be finished:

It's been his turn to be president for the last three election cycles, and goddammit Mitt's going to have it because it's his birthright. If republicans are dumb enough to put him up as their candidate again, then they deserve to lose. They can't be that dumb, can they?

I think if Hillary runs, she'll lose to whoever happens to be the Conservative candidate -- especially if it's Rand Paul. He could split Hillary's vote.

The bottom line is, whenever it's someone's "turn" to be president, someone else always rises up from the ranks and knocks them out of the running. Bill Clinton, Barack Obama...no one knew who the fuck they were.

crockett 06-15-2014 09:12 AM

The sad part is he is the best candidate out of any of the so called hopefuls..

I don't totally hate Mitt Romney. He seems like a reasonable guy compared to some of the nuts in the Republican party.

I think if Hillary runs she'll destroy anyone who goes up against her. I think she has a strong following, and a strong following with women. Imagine if all of the democrats vote for her, and then half of the republican party - the women - also vote for her.

I never totally hated Romney. He was the wrong person at the wrong time. Big business is what caused the recession, and he made all of his money doing exactly what the banks did to fuck us - He used other people's money to buy companies, and then made a profit as he ran them into the ground. This is exactly what the banks were doing - they would hand out a loan to anyone knowing they made the money no matter what, and if someone defaulted they just turned around and did it again making even more money.

I think the entire way Romney operated was shady.

I do wonder how he would handle Obamacare if he became President.

No matter what, it's going to be a fun ride in 2016.

VikingMan 06-15-2014 10:06 AM

You guys realize that he is a pornographer right? How much money did Marriot make from selling porn to their guests? The media mostly ignores this. Why? Because Mitt is just another soulless errand boy for the financiers just like Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc
Yes Mitt was named after the founder of the Marriot corp and he served on the board for many years. Fuck Mitt Romney and fuck every other puppet that is allowed to participate in the presidential debates. The real candidates will be ignored as always.

Hillary will win by a landslide.

Democrats
Women
Minorities
Gays
welfare, gov assistance, Obama care, so on.
Half the rich people

Some of the listed above may be in one or more groups at the same time... LOL

Yes!!!

I will so enjoy watching Hillary wipe her ass with this tool. She will destroy that fucking flip-flopping "let Detroit go bankrupt" pirck within 2 minutes of every debate. Buying my popcorn now...

I had funny thought last night.

Remember in 2008, when Hillary was the "annointed one" and everybody thought for sure she was going to be the next President.
Then Obama came out of nowhere. And Bill got pissed and the Clintons and Obama's went to war in the primary.

2016 it looks like Hillary is a lock to win the Presidency again.

Wouldn't it be funny if Michelle Obama ran? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

She would instantly get all the liberal, women, and black vote and Hillary would be fuming mad. :1orglaugh

I know that's not gonna happen...it just struck me last night that Michelle Obama could be President if she wanted to in 2016. (we'd all be eating tofu and brocoli & all you fat guys would have to get in shape lol)

mozadek 06-15-2014 12:58 PM

Looks like Mitt is going for the trifecta. He wants to get his ass kicked for a third time. In the 2008 primary a senile old fool kicks hiss ass, he loses to a black socialist in 2012 and in 2016 he will lose to a skirt.

He always reminded me of a car salesmen or a stereotypical greasy politician. He just has that greasy look to him that he would literately steal candy from a baby. With that said, I like Hillary even less as a candidate. However I still would not vote for Romney over her, because Romney comes with the Right wing agenda and at least Hillary comes with Bill in the background..

2MuchMark 06-15-2014 03:49 PM

We can all look forward to more of this

I know Vendzilla is already in line to cast his vote for Romnuts.... but please hopefully no one else will be that fucking stupid to vote for this turd ever again.

One of the things I never really understood is how Obama came out of no where... I mean, let's face it, his prior records before coming President is less than exciting.

DAMNMAN 06-15-2014 03:55 PM

C.u.n.t.

MrBottomTooth 06-15-2014 03:58 PM

I actually hope a republican wins next time just so I can see how the liberal media acts. They've been so used to calling the republicans cry babies since Obama first got in it will be interesting to see what happens when the shoe is on the other foot.

FWIW, unless he flip-flops again, Romney on Meet the Press today said he is NOT running in 2016:

Quote:

“I’m not running for president,” Romney told NBC News on Sunday. “I brought a number of the 2016 contenders here to meet with my fundraisers. If I had been running, I wouldn’t be doing that.”
He would be doing this... :helpme

Obama came out of the 2004 DEM convention where he made that famous speech about no blue states, or red states, just the UNITED States. That was his springboard.

Vendzilla 06-15-2014 06:33 PM

Romney would have to get a lot more aggressive than he was against Obama to win against Hillary. I'm more concerned about the republicans taking the senate. I would prefer a balance. If we had a GOP controlled senate and house, we would be better off with a democrat as a president.
Having it all to one party has proven to be a nightmare as shown with the last two presidents.

I don't follow politics on a day to day basis, so some little known Senator or Congressman doesn't really get much attention from me unless they are in the news a lot or running for President.

The speech was definitely how he bounced on the national scene. However most didn't think he was ready to run for 08. The smartest thing he and his campaign ever did, was see the glaring hole left open by the Clinton campaign, and then exploit the hell out of it.

The Clinton campaign totally ignored all caucus primaries. Obama and his campaign saw that this was their path to get noticed and create legitimacy. They put everything in the ground game and communications in those caucus primaries. It allowed them to win these easily, and collect the delegates to raise the profile and legitimacy of his campaign. These caucus states also came early before a lot of the larger primaries in the country. By the time Clinton and her campaign realized they were being triangulated, it was far to late to stop it. You can't just spring up a ground game in caucus states.

I always thought that Obama and his group did these things early on so that they could (like you say, give legitimacy to his campaign and get some free press and fund raising) get him on the national radar to some extent and hope that Hillary selected him as her running mate.

As things turned out that early momentum never waned and when they combined that with his ability to give great speeches as well as the campaign's ability to engage younger voters it was like the stars just aligned for him and everything went right.

Yes, one part of the caucus strategy was to energize the youth with their free time as well. They focused really hard on campuses in those States. And with social media and IM etc, it spread like wildfire among the college students.

It really was an incredible strategy. Caught the Clinton campaign completely flat footed. Put them in such a whole delegate wise, that even huge states like California and NY couldn't close the distance.

It has nothing to do with being aggressive (if you remember, Obama was very passive in the first debate).

All that the ass-close Romney needs to do is not be such an ass-clown liar. Here is the exact moment that Romney lost:

Had Romney actually paid attention to events he wouldn't have looked like such a fool. I especially LOVE the face that Romney makes exactly 1:42. Which a disrepectful and stupid some of a bitch. But right after that, Obama nails him. With total class and with complete ease, Obama's "Please proceed governor" is a kick so full in the balls to Romney, it had me on the floor in pain.

I remember seeing a story about how Obama was buying ad space in various online video games. It was the first time I had ever heard of that before and thought it was an interesting strategy. On one hand it is bold and new, but gamers hate everything so it could backfire. Clearly it did more good than bad because he won the white house twice.

I have a feeling we will be seeing more of this type of stuff in coming elections.

Democrats betting on the country to elect the first woman president might be a giant mistake. Barack Obama may be black, but at least he's a man.

Not saying she isn't qualified...but I wonder if the majority of voters think that way.

And Romney backed off towards the end of the campaign because of hurricane Sandy. He should have kept hammering him.

Yeah the 42 statement was bad, but better than the scandals that have happened since then with Obama

Bill Clinton was a good president because he worked with the other side and got shit done. The people are looking at Hillary and hoping for the same result.
