For sure.. my boy has one so he can get emails n stuff from his family at home and feels all good about himself. It's fucking sick that he got spammed too (although I check his email for him), but if he was older.. trust me, some necks would be WRUNG.

I figured it was coming, considering half the email addresses of mine that they spammed are NOT associated with the industry in ANY way, ONLY accessible from my MAINSTREAM WEBSITES, which have NO links, anything to my adult stuff, and I don't give out.

Has anyone found out where they obtained their email lists from yet? Oddly enough I haven't been swoited at any of my addy's yet, but I'm sure it's in the works.

I'm sure at least some of them were from that list obtained when Pornojunkies was hacked.. but who's to say? Doesn't matter much, I just want the spam to stop. I still get one trickle in now and agian. GRR...

Yeah well I can laugh at JUST about anything.. When kids are victimized in any way (even getting porn email unsolicited), not much pisses me off more. Honestly? Spamcop the fuckers, you're doing the right thing saying something about it.

I can say that it probably wasn't a sponsor who gave out these emails as I'm an affiliate of thousands (adult and non adult) and have not yet got one of these spam mails everyone is talking about.

strangely enuff i have managed to avoid the swoit spam - even though im signed up with all the sponsors other ppl complained about spamming them with this shit .

anyhow i hope they fry - sending porn to kids is NOT on

one thign i'd be having a good look at too is where the email got sent from..
like what type of email does she have? is it thru a kid's website? if so - I'd grill those fuckers over sellign the emails addys of kids.
try and track down where it might have been picked up.

Ths sites are hosted with Verio so i suggest you bonce anything with the word SWOIT directly to [email protected] and they will love you for it.

This is why Spam is such an issue...

I do not know this company or their rep... but in their defense, I am sure they did not know the age of everyone on thier spam list. But if they did, they should be shot.

The point is that they (and most other spammers) don't give a shit about who gets their spam.....it's all just a numbers game, with NO Morals at all......... Hell they would most likely take a kids money for a sign up if they could make a buck......they are scum, plain and simple......

In my opinion and many others they should be more responsible in their UNSOLICITED emails...

I understand people don't like spam, but jeez loueez, if you don't want your kids getting it, there are lots of solutions from which to choose. The most basic approach is to use an ISP, or mail service, or even local mail client that supports "approved sender" lists. As kids get older, you might want to switch to a "reply for approval" shielding system to allow more autonomy.

If you allow anyone in the world to send whatever they want to your kid's screen, don't be surprised when porn, or worse, turns up. Whine all you want about "but I shouldn't have to" (it's true, you shouldn't), but that isn't going to change anything.
