You have a huge gun (crime) problem and many other countries dont have that problem. Why is that you think? Could it have anything to do with your country being flooded with guns?

Why dont you realize that the more guns there are in general the more dangerous it is and the bigger the problem gets.

Why dont you realize that it is statistically proven that its more likely accidents will (and do) happen with guns in houses which are there for "self protection" than that those same guns actually are used for self protection.

The moment a gun is available there is an extra risk of something bad thats gonna happen with it. A risk that wasnt there before. Why do you people fail to see that? Can someone explain that to me?

Because if there were no guns some big thugs might try to do a home invasion on my wife and children while I am out of town.

I feel safer knowing that my loved ones are able to protect themselves and make it an even playing field.

Even when I am home I feel safer. If the dog barks or the alarm goes off I am ready.

Criminals are gonna get guns. They don't care about any laws let alone gun control laws.

With that said..let's even the playing field and make them accessible to any responsible citizen that wants to own and carry one.

then a 3rd time when I was driving here in vegas.. have yuo drivin here? no one knows how to drive... well a guy thought that because I had to jump in front of him on the road that it was his civil duty to come at my car with a tire iron mistake...

now thats 3 situations where legally I could have shot the bad guy dead... out of those 3 situations I have fired 1 round at a bad guy striking him in the stomach then stopping the threat....

why did I not shoot the other 2 guys... because the threat was stoped once they met resistance.. which 6times out of 10 thats what will happen when a bad guy meets resistance... so I agree with you.. there are some gun toting assholes that are waiting to shoot someone over property even like breaking into your car..which in some states thast still legall.. here in nevada it's not but you have to know when you life is in danger and when the threat has been stopped...

I grew up in Texas, my Dad has enough guns to fight a small war, most of my neighbors do too, the owner of Target Masters in Dallas lives across from us. My dad, friends, family, and so on didn't lock up the guns, we didn't move the bullets from one place to another. What my parents did do is teach me the proper ways to use a gun, load, clean, handle, hunt and overall be safe and understand guns aren't toys. Being so I learned to hunt and survive on my own, which I 1000000% used in the Marines.


Since 'guns' seem to be killing people, we should get rid of all knives first, since more knives simply sit in a kitchen and are used for jackings, robbery, killings and by mistake, hurting yourself and maybe even another. At that we should quit driving cars since they kill more people than guns. While we are at it why don't we pad the world and take everything away so nobody can ever get hurt on anything.


And for the record.. 25ish other countries have a higher Murder rate than America. So lets see.. Over half of Americans own guns.. YET, less than 50% of the murders and violent crimes have a gun involved.
