The "Right" presence is getting bigger
Looking though the news and found out about this right network, watch the video with Kelsey Grammer. I'm looking forward to what they come up with

Republican slanted network. Lost all respect for Kelsey Grammer.

Why would a difference in politics equat to respect?
If everybody thought the same way, it would be a boring existance. |

I rather live in a boring society where everyone thought correctly. |

What exactly is unamerican that they do? |
Kidn of interesting given Grammer has a recent history of all the majors ... drugs, sex, rock and roll and sex tapes... but I guess so does Rush.

????? sounds familiar ? BTW, isn't GFY an adult webmaster board ? :) |

There's nothing un-American about that. :1orglaugh |

Whats wrong with what they do? They lie. How many times did they playfully joke, or blatantly lie that a person who doesnt purchase health insurance will be fined or jailed? It's a pure lie. Nothing ambiguous about it whatsoever. All penalties were STRIPPED from the bill at the urging of both the left and right. Anyone who feels like it can learn. Which is the key of course. You have to actually want to feel like learning whats true.
The recent poll actually showed 80% dont trust the federal government. Which, by the way, is a standard result for this poll. The only time in the past 50 yrs it was even near 50% approval was only in the immediate days afer 9/11 when the whole world would have (and wanted to) approve any response we had to make. I watched Foxnews yesterday when Megyn (anchor) interviewed former fox person Alan Colmes about it. She cut him off pretty constantly whenever he pointed out that this was not an anti-obama result, nor even an anti-democrat result. But a fairly standard result. I dont think she believed him. Especially where the poll showed a drop in approval for republicans too. |

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_1...46-503544.html So does that mean you're lieing? The poll was about the government as a whole, thats what it said, don't make this about partisan politics, I didn't. There has been a big drop in trust in both parties, thats why the ranks of the tea party are growing. |
Yes, the poll was about goverment as a whole, and there were MANY questions on it, you seem to only be aware of 1 of them. What can I tell you? I even cited FOXNEWS as my source. What can I say?
You left out the jail time claims. You must be more informed than foxnews and rush limbaugh. Doesnt that concern you? It's useless. |

What the "Right" does is vote against their own best interests. People like Beck Hannity etc.. job is to get the poor dumb asses to fight against one another and never look up to the money elite. So they focus on race and other base prejudices that make it easy to create this fake Left vs Right BS.

And everyone that doesn't vote... yeah that's unAmerican too... and anyone that doesn't eat cheeseburgers... or didn't buy a US flag after 9/11... or whomever is on the right... or whomever is on the left... or fuck what else? I've heard the UNAMERICAN speech so many times about so many classifications of people just because they don't believe or do X. Give me a fucking break... I think anyone who believes in redistributing wealth is unamerican but my version is defined by the Constitution of the United States and Bill of Rights... |

I think you can trace the real problems in our political process back to the creation of Faux News. Before that garbage, politicians could work together to get things done. Now, every Republican knows if they even speak to a Democrat, Bill O'Douchbag or Sean Fuckety will single them out and call them traitors to the "cause". It's full-contact partisanship taken to the extreme, thanks to Fox Noise.

If you believe that in the previous 8 years, that Bush helped the middle and lower classes of the US in ANY way, or that America's global standing was boosted in ANY way, then you are a delusional idiot.
If you believe Obama is NOT attempting to right the wrongs of 8 misguided years, and that he is NOT attempting to HELP the lower and middle class, and that he is NOT trying to fix America's global credibility and importance, then once again, you are a delusional idiot. That is all. |

I really don't agree with many of his points of view but I do enjoy watching the show occasionally depending on the guest... :2 cents: Does that make me stupid? I don't think so :P However it makes you look ignorant (don't take that as an insult) as to the rest of the variables that are in play with making a show popular... |

Both sides battled it out fine before Fox. It was not as one-sided as the brainwashed Fox assholes would like you to believe. They are hypocrites of the highest order. They were nowhere to be found when Bush was giving out handouts to the rich, and the bankers, and the big corps that now run this country. They were nowhere to be found when Cheney was conducting secret energy policies, that have harmed us in countless ways. They were nowhere to be found when Bush stepped all over the constitution, starting unnecessary wars for the neocons, and blatantly ruining America's reputation globally with illegal torture and wiretapping. The GOP is a group of SORE LOSERS, and nothing more. They have NOTHING to offer, but hate and ridicule. Fuck the GOP, Fuck the Tea Party, Fuck Bush Cheney, and Fuck Fox Noise! |

This country's great right/left divide became very ugly during Bill Clinton's presidency. It was always there, but it wasn't until Fox (which officially launched on October 9, 1986) fanned the flames, and the hatred was heated up to the point where it is today.

I agree though, most people probably do take him quite literally and many of the right wing fanatics probably take much of his word as law. I wouldn't change it for the world however... it's free speech and even if I disagreed and hated the content as much as you I'd still never want to see it squashed. I think your problem is more with the people that watch the show and take the word as law; the right wing extremists. All we can hope to do is educate them (and the left extremists too IMO). Since that's the case I prefer not to call them idiots but instead refer to them as misguided ;) I've seen many an intelligent man fight tooth and nail for an ideal they later realized was incorrect. Sometimes it was hours of debate which changed their mind, sometimes it was a book they read... either way they're still intelligent they just aren't understanding the facts correctly or are two blinded by a set of ideals that they're willing to sacrifice reason at the expense of the emotion which is engaged by that ideal being challenged. Either way I say educated them don't desecrate them, lol |
