you have no idea what you are talking about. My brother is a licensed medical marijuana growers in Canada, and his prescription gives him the ability to grow 16 plants for personal use.

Living in B.C., you should have a clue about the damage grow houses cause not only to the property owners, but their neighbours and community.

You want to grow some pot? Fine, have a few plants for personal use. Wanna sell some to your friends? Make sure they're adults and don't do it near a school.
My point only is, if we can all just look at America for one minutes we'll see that tuff laws dont work, in fact, Crime Rates will Sky Rocket. Anyone Please, Prove me Wrong on That!

Putting pressure on dessprit people is a dumb idea. Not saying what there doing is right. Just saying what we're planing on doing is what America has done and its destroying them.

Now yes, you damn right I live in BC if they just decriminalize and make it illegal to grow in your home if you dont own in then fine. Keep the rest of the laws pertaining to minors and grow house. Most people who grow here dont use the hole house, they will use a room or something. I think if BC did this you would see less Violence.

Now I think weed should be brought up to age 21 to posses. No charges for being underage and holding, but put a community service or something like that mandatory for them.

I'm all for getting tougher on crime and harsher penalties. Sorry.

Not really a fan of Harper either, have never voted for him to be honest, but he did say years ago as part of his platform that he was going to get tougher on crime and this is part of it I suppose.

Potheads may *want* it to be legal, and cops do seem to look the other way when only a few plants or a couple of joints are present, but the fact is larger amounts of weed and selling to underage types is not legal, period.

This is just one step though. I'm more interested in what Harper does (if anything) with regard to young offenders, underage repeat car thieves for example. And pretty much anyone that thinks they can just do whatever they want and get away with it, like those who do B & E's one after the other, or morons who spraypaint other people's shit, etc, gang pukes who think it's okay to open fire whenever they please and WHEREVER they please. And on and on and on.

Personally I say round them all up and shoot em, but I guess I'll have to settle for whatever "harsher penalties" the Harper gov't can come up with. Still waiting on those though.

I couldn't care less if he has buddies who stand to profit from larger prisons, btw.

It varies from province to province, but in bc as an example selling cigs to a minor is a 575 dollar fine.

Like I said previously, an 18 year old selling to a 17 year old would have the same 2 year mandatory minimum as a 52 year old selling to a 10 year old. Someone else commented that they can make exceptions for an 18 year old selling to a 17 year old but with mandatory minimums, you can't. thats why they are called mandatory. in effect it says judges are not doing their jobs, they are being too easy on people so these mandatory minimums are needed.

The biggest problem with young offenders is the home environment they are living in. I think parents need to be held a bit more responsible in how they are raising their kids. keeping kids locked up instead of trying to get them the help they need only creates another generation of life long criminals.

so you're saying you want to round up all the gangbangers, murders, car thieves, graffiti artists, and 'young offenders', and shoot them?

ignoring that disturbing opinion, with minimum sentencing, how many world famous artists have risen from just starting to 'tag other peoples property'

is canada going to be the country that throws banksy in jail for 5 years?
