OWS claims to represent the 99%. This is completely misleading. If the 99% in NYC was in fact to protest, it would be over eight million people. Just now at CNN Anderson Cooper was interviewing someone discussing this protest and comparing it to other protests. This guy said "protests must always lead to political action". In the Civil Rights movement, early on, they targeted specific easy to understand rules. In this case, the laws they should be discussing are too complicated for most college kids to understand. But they need to target Washington, not Wall Street. Wall Street isn't gong to change a damn thing on their own.

Washington is being targeted, as well. I don't believe they need to do anything but continue to protest, gather numbers, support, and strength. Eventually, Washington will have to pay attention, even if the protest isn't at the gates of the White House. That's just my opinion.

A tip of my hat to you, sir. I wasn't sure if you were smart enough to figure out that join date, post count, and a signature directly correlate with intelligence and trust, but you have!

I will go buy a map and figure out where Wall Street is in relation to Washington D.C. so that I'm able to see that a demonstration anywhere but in the Capital building is just a waste of time and will not accomplish anything.
