AMERINOC this is getting boring

I know I know, praising Amerinoc seems to be so common it just became boring, but.... what can you do? For me, they are setting the customer support quality bar so high I just wish I had found them before. Anyway, this is just a show of appreciation for what they did for me, with very special kudos to Chris, these guys always go the extra mile

i dunno what you're talking about but their online support sucks big time. the guy/gal there knows nothing. he/she will let you get a ticket instead. so whats the point of online support, support of what?

the guys at online support should do a schooling from online support of webair. online support on webair rocks!

I have to disagree with you, every time I opened an URGENT ticket I was ALWAYS answered in less than 1 hour.

Today I opened a LOW priority ticket and as you can see in these screen shots it was pretty fast. The first reply took about 1 hour but remember it was a LOW priority ticket because it was not really a problem, I just needed help with some email account stuff.

What the fuck?
I get urgent tickets answered in less than five minutes ant low priority tickets in less than 20 minutes at servint every fucking time i've sent one!

Starting to thing amerinoc praising bitches at GFY are nothing but more and more clueless noobs...

If i had to wait one hour for an urgent ticket i would fucking leave that company asap.
Plus, direct admin panel? Really? WTF?

I'm talking about what EVERYBODY BUT YOU is talking about. I don't know your experience, I guess it must have been extremely traumatic seeing how you're going out of place just to post negative comments. But still, when everybody BUT YOU has the same opinion... shouldn't you consider your situation was/is just an exception? btw, if you go to https://support.amerinoc.com/ and you just click on that nifty button that says "LIVE SUPPORT ONLINE" you might get surprised at the fact that they actually have LIVE support. But again, I won't say you're lying, but either way it's YOU AND ONLY YOU the one not seeing that and telling otherwise.

Anyway, I'm not an Amerinoc representative nor anything close to it, I just wrote this post to show my appreciation for the work they took to solve a very weird issue. They even fixed scripts, which is going way out of duty if you ask me, they even bugged me to send them more info when I was just about to give up. That is called pride in what they do, it's that "I'll make this work or die" spirit which barely exists anymore nowadays. So yes, I'm happy. You might have grudges with them. So be it. But as you can see, you're just the exception that confirms the rule

Same, with my host I get low priority tickets answered within 30 minutes (sometimes within just a few minutes)...I work late sometimes and I've gotten on live support at 4am and was helped almost immediately.

People here same to be happy with Amerinoc though so that's all that matters. If you're happy with your host then all is good

Yeah i dont think so buddy. I have been with webair for over 7 years now. Things got got worth when i got a vps. Down time on the rise and issues week after week. When i usually hit them up on the online help; they open a ticket and tell me they will get back to me...i do like peeps that s working there; dont get me wrong.

Do amerinoc offer some kind of vps?

That's the thing with noobs. They think 1-2 hours answer time to tickets is normal. Then they go on boards praising this kind of shitty customer support.


A proper timeframe for low level ticket answer is 5 mins. Anything less is not acceptable for me.

Before starting my own hosting company and network, I used PHAT for many years. Were there are bump here and there? Sure. But that is honestly no different than any other host I have used in some 15 years online. All in all, one of the better companies in the adult space.

2) you're wrong again (what a surprise!). While I LOVE DirectAdmin and really don't feel the need for other control panels, DirectAdmin is the DEFAULT PRECONFIGURED CONTROL PANEL. If you ask for CPanel you can have it for a fee, like any other server. The only RELIABLE host I know that includes CPanel for free is Hostgator and I'm sure they must have some kind of special deal, because CPanel's license clearly says you have to pay for it. Now, for those that want simple, straight to the point control panel, DirectAdmin is more than enough. As a matter of fact, as a whole, I PREFER Direct Admin over CPanel. Less cluttered, cleaner, faster and does the work as well. Not to mention the "3rd party accounts" management is vastly superior to Cpanel's
3) No, they don't pay me (and I'd LOVE to!). It's called giving props where props are due. Of course, you can't know what they did for me (and yet you're talking out of your ass.... YET AGAIN!!!!) , but what they did represents for me MUCH MORE than just a hosting service. It represents saving money (maybe lots), saving time (who knows how much) and giving a boost to my business. It might (or might not) mean THOUSANDS of dollars saved and THOUSANDS earned. So, yeah, keep talking out of your ass and dreaming about ref links
4) What a sad life when you don't have anything positive to say about anyone and feel personally attacked because someone praised a service YOU DON'T EVEN USE!!! They're a great host. I've been with them for 10 years because of their excellent support. They always go above and beyond to solve problems and their response time is minutes, not hours or more like at some hosts. I've tried several other hosts (yes, including Webair - for their loyal fans) but Amerinoc is by far the best.

I disabled my sig so I'm saying this without a referral link. Oh, and I'm not a noob.

We are always here, for better or worse, we are who we are, front and center. I don't care if you want to say how you feel, it makes the world a better place and makes people take responsibility when they are accountable. We are a service provider, as such, you will never be perfect for everyone, even when you have delivered 100%, some people just will not be happy. Criticize us or the world all you want, but at least have the sack to be stand up about it if you are going to criticize a company or people that work their ass of day in and day out for their clients and are publicly accessible and known, unlike you.

DarkJedi, I looked your info up last time you posted that comment in January, you came to us in a desperate situation when RCN was having issues in October of 2010, we set up a server the same day and spent several days trying to transfer files over for you but the servers kept going offline and dropping/blocking SSH access. For as much as you like to crack on us we didn't even charge you up front, as we weren't going to charge you if we weren't able to grab all your content. So between trying to do you a favor when RCN was offline, and the fact that in that last thread it came out that you had been bagging on us because you thought we were Certified/Nakedhosting, explain to me where exactly we failed you? All we tried to do was help you out in a desperate situation two years ago... talk about ungrateful.

We chose years ago to force our managed support into our ticket based help desk, it's just the most efficient way to do things for web hosting support from our perspective. You'd be amazed at what people consider an emergency when it comes to phone and live support and the unrelated things people will want to discuss with you. We've had people ask for help on everything from their remote control that was supposed to sync up to their computer... to what niche they should promote to make the most money... what type of computer to buy... to drunk people that really just want someone to talk to... so, yes, with tickets, we can serve more people more efficiently and have a record of what was done that is easily accessible to the whole staff. We take most live support requests and turn them in to tickets as well as it's important to us to archive the history for each account. Almost twelve years later and we are still growing, so, it must be going OK for the majority of our clients.
