can anyone answer a rebill question?

Greetings friends,

Quick rebill question for you....

has anyone ever seen a scheduled rebill for $29.95 get rebilled at only $5.00

We certainly did everything in our power to ensure the rebill was set to rebill at $29.95

The initial sign up was march 6th 2012 for $29.95....rebill was april 5th 2012 for $5.00 - $24.95 short of the $29.95 rebill price

one rep says loyalty discount was set up for this customer, other rep says b.s. no such loyalty discount is set up on the account?

We are still waiting for answers but figured while we wait we will run this past the gfy family and see if there are any others who have had this rebill anomalie happen to them

If the first rep you spoke with removed the loyalty
discount then when you called back
the second rep would say
there is no loyalty
discount

I don't think that's quite the correct answer

but clearly this is how we get to this point in the industry...hopefully most of you with some manners can see how a sincere post that could help resolve an issue gets hijacked by world class asshats, wannabe comedians, etc

Just because we are in the adult industry does that mean we must remain inmature and arrogant...

I suppose it does...nevermind the relevant info back to the std's

I am pretty sure what happened was your customer got a loyalty discount or a cancellation discount and the second rep just couldn't tell. It seems like you lost money but in reality a customer service rep took the initiative to offer your customer a discount in order to try to retain them for another month.

This is a good thing, since the alternative is that you would bill them 0.

Thanks guys I was beginning to think that it was no point in asking a straight sincere question anymore, thanks for chiming in when you did.

Actually I am the owner of the program, and no one on our team has recently had a loyalty discount set up...in fact quite the opposite we went through some good effort to set up recurring billing on all new subscriptions...

So when a rebill of 29.95 was scheduled for today, but in came in a day early and $24.95 short we thought surely there should be some explanation as to why the rebill would not be $29.95 and only $5.00

The problem is the people we call who "should" know were clueless as to who, why, when, and both reps we spoke to said its a job for the "higher ups"

If it were a simple loyalty discount being set up by someone on my team, why would both reps proclaim that this is bizarre and needs to be looked at by higher ups?

Meanwhile we are sitting here just curious, we come to gfy to ask question...and other than a couple of you we get the typical asshats...it really makes me wonder when an asshat brings his/her uninvited poor humor...into a serious thread....its quite childish to go posting huge jpegs and what not in some ones thread...

i just wanted serious webmasters to take note at what can happen on gfy....someone some where always thinks shit is real funny who knows what their motives are...

I however do not find the humor in it, and neither would my affiliates...they could potentially be getting shorted with this rebill and unless I missed something I did not know shortened rebills was a laughing matter around here...

I am just seeking answers as usual and if I had an answer I would not be here still seeking an answer

Hey Pompous John I "actually" like your theory and if that is in fact what happened then just let it be known that a customer was going to cancel...and that some "concerned rep" somewhere wanted to spare us a complete cancellation and at least retain a "$5 dollar" membership!

We would never consent to a 5 dollar membership and that is not doing us any favors. But for argument sake I would love to know "who" that rep was if it happened as you theorize so I can personally thank "them" for saving my customer 24.95 on his recurring subscription.

I am sure there is an explanation somewhere and we politely request an explanation, we are trying to correct a problem here and if you do not properly identify the problem....you can never properly correct the problem

Hey I am happy to report that I have been given a "reasonable" explanation and along with the explanation I was given assurances that the problem was corrected and should not happen again.

Case Closed back to work....no more $5.00 rebills LOL

Congratulations on finding the solution!!!

. . . and since you are being vague the cause of the $5 rebill was not due to a CCBill error but yours

Had nothing to do with us, rebill was 5 and should have been 30.

The few months I've been with sara I just thought the weird rebill amounts were something from past.

This is fucking crazy and nobody should put up with a 5 dollar rebill when should be 30.
