say no to guns

carry a blade instead.
latest purchase

its not too special but nicely made, rockwell is not that high but it holds an edge well enough and locks nice and hard which counts more IMHO. I have a carbon fibre on order, what do you have that isn't a 9 or .38 ?

P.S, the background is Damians left ass cheek

Hi

Are you in the UK?

I say this as if that 'locks', its illigall.

Its legal under 3 inches (i think thats the size) as long as it does not lock open.

if you go out in public you can get up to 5 years in prison.

ps

I found that out the hard way, I got a coution for having one.

A Crown Court case (Harris v DPP), ruled (case law). A lock knife for all legal purposes, is the same as a fixed blade knife. A folding pocket knife must be readily foldable at all times. If it has a mechanism that prevents folding, it's a lock knife (or for legal purposes, a fixed blade) The Court of Appeal (REGINA - v - DESMOND GARCIA DEEGAN 1998) upheld the Harris ruling stating that "folding was held to mean non-locking". No leave to appeal was granted.

Oh, and your definitions and suppositions are wrong. There are laws and regulations, but you are just guessing them, so, err, they dont count as a guess

I stand corrected, no one must ever walk around with illegal knifes, drugs, contraband or foreign tobacco as they 'might' get arrested and put in jail.

Thank heavens for that, I thought for a slightest moment there might be actual people breaking the law, but it seems that the fear of being 'banged' up by your majesties peelers will keep everyone in check.

i had one and got nicked.

even the solicitor did not know if it locks its an offence, he had to look it up.

to me the locking device makes it safe, but it goes to a case were the prosectuters argued if it locks then its the same as a non folding blade.

as i say it makes no odds to me if you have it or not. i am just pointing it out that its ok to have at home, but not in public. and under uk law a car/van is classed as a public area.

In any case, the Scouts used to let you carry a 10" bowie knife in public even if it did break your belt loops.

Hay, I do not care.

Personaly I think they should be legall.

In truth under UK law today you can get nicked for having anything on you that they can claim could be a weapon.

a year ago on question time one of the panel said it was stupid and there was a time all young boys had them in the scouts.

its labour who introduced all this rubbish.

even cross bows are now illigall.

thing is, if your a criminal, you can buy a gun with ease.

if it locks its illegal, thats the law and has been for a long time. You should have got a solicitor that knew the law. Also unless you haven't worked it out yet, its only illegal if you are caught.

i agree.

i consider it a discrace that so much is illigall in the uk.

in fact i had to worn an old lady the other day that her tyers were a bit worn and that if the police stoped her, its 3 points per wheel. i said if all 4 are illigall thats 12 points, you have lost your licence.

Look, the point is that it's neatly crafted, it has holes in it, part of it is shiny, part of it is brushed. It flicks out and goes "schnick" and its sharp as fuck. Oh, and its held together with allen bolts , bonus

i am off to bed now.

but to be honest, i detest the uk these days. everything is an offence, and they are dirt bags with it.

this will wind me up as i get so fed up with uk laws these days.

i realy hate this country these days.

i thought conservatives may have reversed these laws, but what do we find this week, that they now want to spy on our internet use.
