That kind of thing is standard practice now. You just ignore it and let the story run a few days, and then the news channels will move on to the next thing to get ratings.

Look at 2013: Benghazi, the IRS, the NSA...all those stories were forgotten about once the Zimmerman trial started.

The govt. can pretty much do any goddamn thing with no fear.

I am reading a book about the NSA and I came across something interesting this morning.

It seems that after 9/11, it was discovered that one of the terrorists in the US had called a known terrorist number (in Yemen), but because the calls came from the US the NSA was legally unable to tap it.... Seems the NSA considered the call the FBI's area...
