Esurance is the best automobile insurance company I have ever seen

I couldn't afford to pay two months down, so the guy on the phone worked that out for me, plus he found me extra discounts.. apparently being referred by paypal or having an account with them is worth 10% off... No claims for at least 5 years is another one.. etc.

Nowhere have I ever had a better experience fucking with automobile insurance and the premium is 40% lower than anywhere else out there at all anywhere.. I quoted through maybe 15 companies last night.

Also, this is the only one where the price was the same and did not change by the time I wanted to buy it.. Most of them show you one price and try to charge more on the final step... They didn't, at all.

They sold me strong coverage for a very good price. Well under $600 for six months. With a dui against me.

Selling you the policy has fuck all to do with how good they are - you find that out when you come to make a claim.

Agreed. You make a very good point. Allstate fucked me hard on a claim I made against one of their insureds, many years ago. If they try it again I will fight them to the ends of hell.

No DUI's for me, but we do have six vehicles and a couple kids on our policy, so our premium is a bit higher. We pay $4000 every 6 months.

I'm not even about trying to show out right now (nor was I really ever, except when I was too young to even pee and wanted to be "cool" and that is many many moon ago) but I will say this in my defense.. Mine is a better color, a coupe, and has better wheels.

Also, I would never have driven a honda, but then when my ex went nuts and wanted to run away.. I had to have something back for all I spent on her. I never spend money on a woman, it is rare.. But she was sick and I gave a fuck. What a huge mistake. But I'm not some fucking square, so I got her car. As stupid as I use to think hondas were, they are not so bad. It is like driving a little go kart and it is extremely reliable.

Don't get me wrong, if I had my way, I'd be driving an '01 Seville STS. They're good cars and resale is $0 so you get them cheap. Good gas mileage. And it is a huge car with a big engine, too. Plus I look amazing driving one.

Well
I look good driving the honda as well

I think if there weren't so many kids with their "my stickers and stupid rims boost my horsepower up" riceburners running around with fart can exhausts, then, there would not be so many old people like me who hate honda cars. I don't even hate them anymore now that I have owned one. I almost kinda love the stupid car.

Yes. I can get quite a bit out of the car if it gets totalled. $36/mo is only $400 or so per year and if my car gets fucked, I am fucked, and any money I could have in that situation could be very important at that time... So yeah it's not the best decision in terms of the value vs. the cost, but, the coverage fits my current situation. Also I have always preferred to have the strongest insurance I can get. I'd really like to lower the liability and increase the under insured protection but that's not allowed (I have never and probably will never cause an accident- but half of these yokels here have no insurance and drive like they look)

We do ok. We are able to buy groceries occasionally.

Our mortgage isn't actually that bad. We have a large house, but put down a large bit and we already owned the property (we have acreage). My boat payment is almost what the mortgage is.

I would 86 the boat, fast. Most people who own them don't use them enough to justify it. Is it one you can charter out when you ain't using it, maybe? If you're not using it all of the time I would sell it and charter one whenever you do need one.. Boats are about the worst thing you could ever own, ever, if it ain't earning for you.. Anyway, without that payment you could make doubles on the mortgage and satisfy it in 1/4 of the time or less (I think)
