My conversation with the mangina in a parking lot today

I walk out of Starbucks with my kid to get into our truck. The dogs are in their crates in the back of the truck which is covered. Mangina walks around from the back of my truck and confronts me.

Mangina to me: "That dog is clearly in distress"

Me: Yes the dog is was a rescue and has severe separation anxiety.

This does not deter the Mangina because his estrogen is bubbling over

Mangina: "I work with dogs and that dog is distress"

Me: "The dog does the same thing when I leave her behind a closed door and walk into the other room at my house".

Magina is still not deterred. I am now a dog abuser and need to pay for my misdeeds

Mangine: "How would you feel if you were locked in a cage inside of a dark place"

So this Maingina feels that it is abuse to put a dog in a crate just like millions of other dogs use, vets use, animal rescue groups use, and which are sold by the millions by stores like Petco.

I have my kid with me so I do not want to get into an argument. Also because the Mangina may have video taped or taken pictures of my vehicle I did not want this to end up on youtube because then you know that the millions of other bat shit crazy people and Manginas would want to make themselves feel important and join in and crucify me for walking int Starbucks while leaving the dogs in the truck. Also it was a cool morning and no sunshine. Temp inside the truck was about 65 degrees so don't try to say it was dangerous.

So to diffuse the situation I reply "I understand". Mangina walks away but keeps an eye on me.

We were inside the Starbucks for a while. We had to stand in line. Not sure exactly maybe 20 to 25 minutes at most.

So GFY jury should I give the dog up for adoption? Am I an animal abuser?

Next time you go to Starbucks, you should go visit Dave the homeless guy that you're 'mentoring' and have him watch your dog for about an hour. Tell him that people are more likely to give money to a homeless person with a dog than they are to a homeless person without a dog because most people care more about dogs than they do homeless people. Then go get your faggoty latte. Take your time, maybe read the newspaper or something, and then go pick up the dog and see if Dave made an extra few bucks. Report back.

This is what happens now that we've created a world where it's now frowned upon to punch idiots in the face and laugh at them for being pussies as we sip our scotch on the way to the car.

People don't understand dog crates and kennels because they have no experience with dogs that use them.

My working dogs are transported in heavy duty aluminum crates in the back of my truck under a canopy. Over the course of a long training day dogs will spend several hours in their crates. Nothing cruel about it. When it comes to vehicles, crates are the safest place a dog can be really. It's the responsible way to transport dogs.

I'll take the dog off your hands. I'll pay for him to be crated to us here in Southern California. PM me and I'll set it up.

Shelter dogs are a lot of work. You're locking him away in a room in your house and walking away to another room. Strangers are approaching you and noticing your handling of the dog is inappropriate. You're an alcoholic. You're in over your head. Let me help you out ;)

The dog loves me though. Even though I drink too much. She does this cute thing where she nibbles on my nose.

I drink faggoty americanos with a little cinnamon sprinkled on top.

Shelter dogs are a lot of work. You're human, you can take care of yourself. My main concern is for her. I'm already committed to helping her so it doesn't really matter but may I ask, what's her name? What breed is she? ;)

She is a lab mix named Whitney. She tears things up when left alone. When she is with me she needs to be physically touching me at all times. She does not like it when I give attention to other dogs.

I understand your stress & confusion. I can take Whitney off your hands you'll be better to cope with other more important things. We have two perfectly adjusted shelter dogs and we'd love to welcome Whitney to our brood. Please let me help you, and Whitney. PM me

You seem like one strange person. Nobody here needs or wants your help. If you want another dog from a shelter, I'm quite sure there's plenty in your area that need a home. Have at it.

why wouldn't the op tell some fuckwad stranger to fuck right off rather than bringing attention to himself at teh gfy for not knowing how to handle the situation?

I mean rly, if some fuckwad interupted my starbucks because my dog was barking i would not hesitate to say gofuckyourself in-between sips of my grande caramel machiatto.

I suspect he looked in the cab of my truck and if he did then he could have coppied some info revealing my professional relationships and then harassed me. This is the PNW where pussified passive aggressive males are plentiful and that is how they get you. In other ares of the world they stand up to you like a man. Not here.

this is the first time i've ever said this at teh gfy- I don't understand.

don't get me wrong, I'm very anti-pussification, but.... i'm not getting it, why not tell that guy (with a sly smile): fuck right the fuck off, if you have a problem, call the fucking cops, fuck you.

Here when you stand up for yourself and confront someone it is viewed as aggressive and abnormal. Like I said the guy would have tried to harass me somehow in a passive aggressive way. The last time I confronted someone in my neighborhood they made up a bunch of lies about me and gossiped to everyone. They also called the cops on me for completely bogus reasons. This is how men in this area of the world operate. They are pussies.

I'm not saying stand-up for yourself, but a natural reply to someone butting in to someone else's business is to kindly tell them to gofuckthemselves. serious. we all need to do more of that. not in a confrontational way or psycho way or assault rifle way, I mean kindly gofuckyourself, if you really REALLY have an issue with my behavior then the absolute best and safest and structured way to handle that is to call 911.

i am completely serious, maybe it's not worded right before because I added the fucks into the dialogue, so remove those, if someone butts into your business while you are doing the right thing and enjoying yourself, then tell them the best thing to do is call 911 and let the police do their jobs.

i am absolutely completely serious.

Ok obviously my previous posts in this thread were taking the piss but if you seriously, seriously think being a man is telling someone to call 911 if they have a problem then, well then you're just as pussified as the guy with his kid and shelter dog at Starbucks. You heard it here first

in thinking about it, that is exactly how I would have handled it if i were the other guy. if i was walking through a parking lot and a dog was in distress in the back of a pacific northwest redneck's pickup, and that bothered me, you can bet i'd simply pull my phone out of my pocket and say "911" without breaking a step. :-)

gofuckyourself.

no. what makes you think this turns into a filing a personal criminal complaint?

please, stay the fuck out of shit you truly can't comprehend. you think calling 911 means sticking around and filing a crime report with the police, what grade are you in?

you know those signs on the side of the freeways that state "dial 911 to report drunk drivers."?

fyI: you don't have to pull over and wait for the cops and file a crime report.

Dude I'm from Southern Orange County ( though a lot of my youth was spent in Vancouver, Washington)

The only thing cops do here is give speeding tickets to tourist & breakup drunk fights in mansions. I don't know all that crime report mumbo jumbo you're talking about but I do know how to deal with mangina's. A) You ignore them while getting into your car or B) Say "fuckoff", with no emotion, while getting into your car. The last thing you do is tell a mngina to call the cops, because that's what they'll do

I would be fine with someone calling the police. I love the local police. They helped me find one of the dogs I was fostering for several months. One of them had found him in the woods and then they turned him over to me. Then when he got loose one night two squad cars helped me find him. Good guys

lolz. elsewhere you like to show-off that your sister or someone is some sort of hotshot vet and your a big animal lover yet you want to think it's some sort of old man syndrome to call the cops if and when you think a dog is truly in distress in a random pickup truck in a fucking parking lot.

don't be daft, you also like to gfy pose like you're smart, in addition to being the big dog fucker, i mean lover, so don't get yourself confused.

exactly, thank you. common sense prevails. if a dog is seriously in distress in a random pickup truck in a parking lot the ONLY logical reaction is to call the police.

i mean rly.

Should've told him you were on your way to a barbecue at a Korean friend's place in Lynnwood.

wait, I'll guess, you'll use your cool powers of persuasions you learned from internet and explain to the dog abuser over an espresso the errors of his ways. you two will hug it out as you hold hands releasing the lock on the dog cage together while a double rainbow emerges in the background as the dog runs off into the sunset.

wait, I'll guess. it just so happens there is a paint store in the area so you go get some spray paint and graffiti "dog abuser!" on the sides of the truck and that saves the dog and the dog lives happily ever after. that's like much better than like calling 911 like huh!

Wow, I really upset you.

The only person suggesting vigilante actions, or really any need to intervene at all is you. It's like you're totally confused and have no idea what's going on. Are you SURE this isn't baddog posting?

Personally, I know the difference between a dog in actual distress and a dog unhappy or anxious about being in a crate.

I'm not upset at all, don't try and spin it back to me, you're the one who came up with some sort of bizarre baddog/dyna mo mix-up based on my stating it common fucking sense to call the cops, so let's not try and bullshit your way out of that.

i simply am showing you what it's like to deal with someone like you, enjoy yourself.
