Iran has reportedly found an unexpectedly high reserve of uranium, following assessments that the country is running low on the nuclear raw material and just days after President Obama essentially secured an international nuclear deal with the country's leaders.

The discovery was reported first by Reuters and based on comments made by Iranian nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi to the state news agency IRNA.

"I cannot announce (the level of) Iran's uranium mine reserves," Salehi was quoted as saying. "The important thing is that before aerial prospecting for uranium ores we were not too optimistic, but the new discoveries have made us confident about our reserves."

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

i know, you were saying Iran is acting as you would expect it to, considering we have it surrounded. and regardless of our meddling over there, perhaps the reason why we have them surrounded and have a real hard time trusting them with nukes is on account of their 3000 year history of slaughtering each other combined with the fact that just up till about 50 years ago these people were riding camels and still, in 2015, can't figure out democracy, mostly due to religious baloney.

Having said that... None of us should have nuclear weapons. It should be a world wide agreement to ban destroy and nullify the use or need for nuclear weapons. There would never be any good outcome or any reason to actually light the fuse on one of those firecrackers. It would be the end of many things... quite possibly the end of a stable civilization.

that's just my view, i get the hypocrite point. we have nukes. but more nukes because hypocrite isn't something i agree with, especially when it comes to the middle east.

The hypocrisy statement wasn't directly pointed at the fact that we have nukes as well. But more so at our intentions and excuses for entering other countries. If we look through time... We have made agreements with other nations to uphold a set of certain rules and standards when dealing with each other. It seems we make these agreements then we turn a blind eye to certain assets(countries) when we see fit and on the other hand we bend rules in our favor out of agenda and gain.

I am American... but anyone can easily look from the outside(some truly can) and see that if the world were to choose one single organization as the most tactically invasive, mongering and down right terroristic entity... it would be the American government. The hypocritical part is we deem it all necessary to fight terrorism in and abroad.


The nukes part is just a bad thing in general. The problem is... there will never be just one nuke. It's not like if we dropped a nuke on someone that they just all the sudden shut up and succumb... Even their neighbors will be super pissed and get itchy trigger fingers.

I think the odds have gotten greater of nuclear armed terrorists.

The USA should make clear that any nuclear terrorism will result in total retaliation against all targets of opportunity indiscriminately -- the whole world goes up in a fireball including ourselves.

This coincides with Israel's Sampson Option -- they will fry everyone they can even if it means their own demise -- Iran knows that this is their official undeclared policy.

There are too many nuclear players that are not stable countries.
Too many might become suicidal. Disarming is a pipe dream.

Hah, good eye. Yes and no. The B-52s are easily one of my favorite rock bands, period.

But I don't dislike R.E.M. at all. Certainly you would have to agree that Stipe's singing style is not the most clear and coherent. That's not a bad thing at all. But it is there. I could make jokes about the B-52s too, given the opportunity.

It was really more of a joke than anything really. Maybe if L-Pink didn't hog all the jokes some others jokes could stand a chance.

I must have missed that in the news.

I honestly love it when the United States uses it's military; I get a huge fucking hard on. But I don't recall Iran attacking the United States. Did they attack the United States? If so, why hasn't the United States attacked back? It's not like we need their oil. And it's not like the United States cannot have planes over Tehran in an hour or two.

Like I said, we have two options. Go along with the agreement, or go to war. I mean, I am perfectly okay with us going to war with Iran and bitch smacking them around for the next ten years.
