Facebook asking locked out users to provide Government ID‏

I Still face an iusse with them as they blocked my domains and my links which i used to promote since a Year.

ANY help would be appreacited

I never really believed that Facebook was a CIA ( or government) front until something that happened to me.

Facebook may have accessed my telephone record meta-data to and suggested I friend my estranged married sister with a married name ... spooky ... this happened just after I changed my account recovery telephone number to my old land line number that I moved to t-mobile -- they used to have my 'burner' mobile telephone number -- that sim is registered to me but has little historical data.

My Facebook accounts are all in pseudo names but obviously by the recovery numbers... Oh well, the is no privacy anymore

I would just ditch that account and stay under the radar.

Facebook does ask for your credentials if you make a fake female account and add too many people all at once. You should have read some blackhatworld "how-to make fake profiles" a little better. Next time just add yourself and a few friends so when you have to verify your friends once you get locked out you can.

Is it possible that the "shadow" data they keep on their users includes information from data brokers, such as reverse number lookups, addresses, associates, etc? Perhaps your historical records were fed into the gigantic connected graph that is Facebook, which is why she pops up as a potential friend.

Just thought. Makes me wonder if the random "who the fuck is that?" friend suggestions I see may actually be intended for someone else who shares my name...

Funny I made a fake female profile (legit biz reasons) and that was the first time they asked for a confirmation phone number. I have since removed the number but I bet they are holding it somewhere.

No, the only connection to my sister would have been from phone records. I haven't spoken with my sister in over 7 years on that phone number and there are no email or other connections, like public data -- I own property she is on no deed, etc, that would connect the dots. I have to "family or blood relation" Facebook friends -- intentionally.

So if I am right; this data came from retained telephone meta-data that is over 7 years old. The NSA is lying about destroying data but that is not surprising is it?

Facebook has access to government data somehow -- their other suggestions have some network explanations and are expected. Since I have multiple accounts at Facebook I will duplicate the event, the recovery phone number change, and see if that triggers the same suggestion -- when I have some time -- this is trivial but good background information on Facebook and the US Government.

The gmail account I does not have any email correspondence from my estranged sister -- I just double checked to be sure. The are no mutual Facebook friends either. The is no logical reason other than my "paranoia" that you imply ...

Anyway, I really don't give a shit about Facebook but I do give a shit about the unlawful use of what was VOIP (Vonage) and now Mobile cellphone data and specifically; of domestic calls by and between US Citizens. What legal use of this data could Facebook possibly have -- none. Furthermore, why was it retained more that 7 years.

I just think you would be wise to treat Facebook as a hostile entity in your dealing with it.

I presume that was meant to be "no" family or blood relation friends. I'd say it would still be possible for FB to have a good guess at your family relationships, or at least that you're a part of the cluster that your family members are contained within, because they have so much information on so many people's social connections. This would work even if you used a completely ficticious name and were careful about not friending them directly.

Assuming you are using your real name, and were not estranged from your sister from the day you were born, you must have shared an address and other data at some point, before your lives diverged. I read in a book that a mother of two had varied results with data brokers, but some of them were able to give completely accurate information, including her dorm room number from years back.
