I know quite a few refugees in the United States from Africa. That is the exact path that they follow. The men find Asylum or another method of getting here and staying. They make money, send most of it back to their families. While here they work on their citizenship status and also bringing their family over. This is not just wife and kids. This is also quite often brothers, sisters, parents. It's a very big net.

One very important difference to note here: the refugees that I know from Africa did not leave their families home in a war zone. They may not be the safest areas, but they are not getting bombed by militants and global air forces.

I cannot picture any situation where I would leave and let my family there to fend for themselves.

On another note, I find many Middle Eastern women quite attractive. Can we bring them over here to fill our refugee quotas? There has to be tons of them being left behind!

maybe i am warped by US history & am ignorant of all the racism in europe. maybe thats why USA was founded by people sick of europe. but in USA, over the generations, most ethnic groups arrived here poor & unskilled. eventually they become americans if they make the effort to learn english. but here in USA many illegals do not bother to learn english, but they can get by & its OK. parts of miami are basically spanish speaking territory & its OK. theres no civil war between whites & illegals, as much as the media wants to portray one. in USA its hard to even tell who is illegal when your in a diverse area.

i'll take a syrian refugee who wants to work over a jew settler who wants to not shower & find new verses in the bible to take away more palestine land.

Yes $200,000 was a very low estimate. It could be double that for new homes in places with jobs.

I'll agree the response by politicians is criminal. The proper solution is to build safe camps, with facilities such as a shed/sheds to live in, water, heating, healthcare, safety from war. Make housing, work, healthcare, etc impossible to get for the migrants. Except migrant like you and me who can pay for everything we need, create jobs, pay into the system. For me it's about who contributes and who takes out.

EU politicians have refused to do that and dumped the migrants on the working classes of the affected countries, to lower wages and raise property values. Making life harder for the people who pay their wages. The alternative is far right governments who will deal with the problem. And that never ends well.

Bombs don't discriminate women and children. These men as you say are coming for work.

Afghanistan would now be a Russian province without the help of the US. After the US supplied the people with arms to over throw the Russians. The terrorist started bombing the US, instead of starting a war with Russia.

Saudi is fighting terrorists in Yemen. Iran is funding Muslims to kill other Muslims. Iraq was fighting a war with Iran, Iraq invaded Kuwait, Libya is a mess. The Ottoman Empire was no peaceful regime. It's legacy is the problems in the Balkans.

Africa is largely a mess with leaders like Mugabe ruling with an iron fist. After being given the country, by the world uniting against the Smith Regime, he proceeded to turn the bread basket of Africa into a basket case.

And yet they all blame the West for their desire to kill each other to take from each other. The trouble in the ME today is over oil. They want control of it before it runs out. Take the oil out of the situation and there's no ISIS, Al Qaeda, or any other bunch of fanatics killing fellow Muslims.

We can already see from statistics in western european countries that these african and middle eastern migrants DO NOT integrate and for the most part DO NOT work, either by choice or by inability to create jobs. We're talking about 70-90% depending on source country that are on the welfare system and there is no reason to suspect this latest batch will be any different. I don't see why the current Polish gov't (which again, will be gone as of Sunday) would agree to accept ANY african refugees when we see it ends up beign a mess and will likely need to take a shitload of ukrainian refugees (which DO integrate and work in our society, and *very* quickly learn the language because it's similar). We have tens of thousands of people in bordering post-soviet countries that need to be repatriated.

There was a very interesting program from Trevor Phillips, who chaired the Equality and Human Rights Commission, recently. One would think he would come out for integration and how migrants fit in. He came out with the opposite after looking at the data.

Migrants don't integrate among their own cultural lines. He found statistics proving ethnic groups lived together in certain areas. Muslims are 12 times more likely to be convicted of a sex crime. Carribean more like to be commit a crime. Jews more likely to be Bankers or Lawyers, and so on. All along the line cultural lines.

The wooly liberal agenda is they all yearn to be just like us, is wrong.

A lot of ISIS' operating revenue is from crude oil sales from the 'Caliphate' lands they have looted.

As in most things, also here one can't talk about "Europe" as a country, there are major differences.
